We have been to this hotel a few times before, then it was a Best Western with 3 stars. Now its a B&B 2 stars. The location is the same; absolutely walkable to this part of the citys restaurants and entertainments. The Ubahn stops right in front of the hotel.

Perfectly adequate

This hotel is perfectly adequate if you're going to be out most of the day like we were. The hotel in general is a bit dated but the rooms were practical and clean. The shower was a bit rusty but nothing awful. The rooms do get incredibly hot even when it is cold outside. It is quite loud to sleep with the window open so you have to choose between being hot or it being loud! Overall, it is fine. I think it is a bit expensive for what it is but was one of the cheapest options we could find.

A friendly hotel to stay at a budget price. As UK visitors our only issue was the lack of a kettle to make hot drinks in your room. Staff friendly and rooms clean. Our room at the back was very quiet.

The room was uninhabitably hot. Staff confirmed this is a known issue and that ventilation does not work in winter. The condition did not match the photos at all — worn, damaged curtains, and a rusty, dirty bathroom. Pillows were completely worn out, and staff were unhelpful when we asked for replacements. We checked out the same evening without staying overnight.

This was a good hotel for us to stay prior to going to see the sights in Berlin. The water was great for the shower and there is body was provided. When we set out the next morning they provided luggage lockers for 1 euro. The euro was returned once the key was returned. Staff was very friendly. Only down side to this hotel was the air conditioning did not blòw very hard. Other tha that it was a very good stay and I would recommend to anyone.
