The Holiday Inn Express in Longmont is a nice property. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. This hotel has recently been renovated and has a pool with a slide, as well as a small fitness room. The fitness room didn’t seem too nice, but better than nothing.

The hotel was just “OK”. Part of the pool slide that was one of the reasons we booked there were broken. The breakfast was mostly the same every day and many times overcooked. They failed to clean our room one day. Empty Kleenex boxes in multiple places, I.e. public restrooms and gym. However, the staff was super nice and professional, so they get applause!

Staff was absolutely amazing and didn’t look at us like a side show they gave my kids little Easter toys as soon as we walked in the door! They got us extra towels immediately and bedding for the pull out! The only complaint is the slide is broken and they never told us and it was our whole point of staying there during our road trip! I can’t express enough how accommodating and nice the staff was!

The staff lied from the get go about the pool. They offered a $50 credit because of the issue and then did not honor it. The pool was the only reason we decided to stay at this property, they kept saying it would be fixed but never was. They stated that a manager would call to talk about the issues but said manager has been avoiding all calls and has not called us once.

I really wanted to love this hotel- but it got bad then kept getting worse and worse. I had to say something and I hate saying anything usually if it’s just a few minor things, but it wasn’t. It was terrible. The good- Water Slide and good price. Check-in clerk was very friendly and helpful. The bad- the toilet to our room wasn’t working but I didn’t want maintenance in there with me as a female traveler. I brought food to heat up for lunch the next day since the room was supposed to have a fridge and microwave. The fridge was very loud and kept me awake all night but did not get cold and my lunch was ruined and cost me more money. The pool area was dirty and had no clean towels at 8pm the slide ladder was rickety. There was only hot water in the lobby and the water in the room tasted terrible. The breakfast was out of most items and even though we got there an hour before it closed they stopped refilling items. My son waited 45 minutes for the biscuits for the gravy but they never came. None of the supplied paperwork included checkout time, so when the maid banged on the door and yelled at me for not having a late checkout (I thought checkout was noon) that was the final straw for me. Front desk then immediately called after she yelled at me and I told her that we were about to leave and that I would come tell her everything that was happening in the room that caused issues. I did and instead of being helpful she was rude. Manager was supposed to call but didn’t. Terrible.

Beds were very comfortable, room was clean, staff very friendly. Did not have hot water in the shower only in the sink, so I called for help. They called me said it was all fixed, next day there still was 0 hot water for the shower. This is our normal go to place. This is the first time to ever have this inconvenience.
