We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay - we wished we could have stayed another night! The bed was comfortable, the patio was a wonderful surprise, the surroundings were peaceful and lovely. Mt Gardner Inn was a lovely place to stay. Big, comfortable room, a lobby with a few things that could be taken to the room (electric tea kettle, yea!). Would have been nice if the outdoor chairs had comfortable cushions, but that is nitpicking on my end.

We had a wonderful stay. The room is spotlessly clean. Nice furnishings and linens. Bed very comfy. The lobby has all the extras you will need for picnics, an ice machine and small appliances to borrow. A good selection of DVD’s as well. This is very close to downtown Winthrop for food and shopping. We sincerely enjoyed our stay and will come back again when passing through Winthrop.

We loved everything about Mt Gardner Inn from the deer chasing each other across the lawn to the friendly and helpful innkeepers. Communication with the innkeepers was excellent. Our room had a nice little balcony with quality chairs and cushions. Perfect for morning coffee. The inn had the retro feel of an old style motel but with a clean and modern touch. I wish we could have stayed longer!
