Water pressure was pretty lame, the door handle on the bathroom was taped on and fell off as soon as we tried to use it! Who tapes a handle onto a door? When we went to have breakfast most of the food was gone, so we went to WaWa instead.

A different Holiday Inn Express

If you are looking for a typical Holiday Inn Express, this is not it. It is being renovated from an older resort type hotel. It does not have the typical Holiday Inn Express vibe. Front desk staff was excellent. Our room was made up daily, however we had to call fro towels one day. The multiple building thing was a little weird. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Okay hotel but could be much better

Pool was dirty everyday we were there , it was supposed to be heated but it wasn’t , never had enough towels out for guests . Gym was just enough but it never had towels to wipe the equipment down with . Breakfast was the same thing everyday . We stayed 7 nights and it would’ve been nice to have a variety . Breakfast was very bland and simple . Our sink was clogged when we got there . They did a fire alarm drill an entire day at the hotel ( just happened to be the day we had no plans and stayed at the hotel ) . They tried to get in our room 4 times the day we stayed at the hotel why we have no clue . Came back one day at 4 pm and our room was never cleaned . We never had enough towels for our family and had to keep asking for more . The refrigerator froze everything and we had it on the lowest setting . Elevator was a little sketchy . Between the floors it jerked a lot and we took the stairs to be safe . Hotel has great potential but all the small details matter.

Well to put it in simply terms we are now at a Holiday Inn express near the cruise terminal at Port Everglades. It’s a Ritz Carlton and this hotel is not even a motel 6. It is in terrible need of make over. The worst Holiday Inn express we have ever stayed in.

It definetly does not look like the pictures presented with the pools and stuff. there was pools but looked nothing like the ones in the pictures. the room was nice but the tile floors were dirty and the bathtub was gross. i dint even callwe were so tired i just cleaned it myself. the staff was great the breakfast was nice. something happen with there bathrooms when we were there and our room and the hallway smelled so bad the last night.

DON'T DO IT!

Walked into the room an noticed that there was a loose cord coming out of the AC unit. It was not plugged into anything nor did it have an end to plug it in to. The TV did not work at all. I called the front desk from my cell phone because the room phone didn't work. They said they would get somebody on it. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water. Attempted to call the front desk again and nobody answered. I tried this for about 10 minutes before walking down to the lobby. While in the lobby I called the front desk, the lady behind the desk was not helping a customer at the time. I sat there and watched her let the phone ring. I told her about the hot water as well as the tv again. I had somewhere to be so I took a cold shower. As I was coming out of the bathroom the maintenance man knocked on the door and within 5 seconds opened the door. I yelled at him because I was standing there unclothed. I couldn't believe it. On day 2 I tried to call about the tv again. No answer again. Went downstairs and there was a not that said be back in a few. There was a gentleman who said he had been waiting for 15 minutes to check in. He began yelling in the back why I was banging on doors. We were finally able to get somebody to come out. I informed him again about the tv and that the maintenance man walked in on my naked. He didn't care. He gave me a business card that had to general managers phone number on it. The phone number was the same one to the hotel that nobody answers

Room was nice and it’s away from all the ghettobess down I4 but ants were all on the walls by the elevator and the lobby bathroom was trashed with no to on a Friday morning. In my 3 day stay nobody addressed the ants
