My spouse and I have a little tradition—every other week, we pick a new spot for a quick escape and give it a thorough, honest review. This time, we found a hidden gem.
The room was newly renovated—clean and modern, though nothing too remarkable. At first, we weren’t sure it would stand out. Then we saw the private indoor pool—and everything changed. It’s directly connected to the room, large, warm, and crystal clear. We spent most of our time there. It felt peaceful, romantic, and completely private—something you rarely find.
There’s a poolside TV that only plays DVDs. The front desk has a few to borrow, but the selection was outdated and limited. Staff seemed stretched thin, and we caught them in what felt like a stressful moment—not exactly the welcome we hoped for. We also noticed the walls were thin—footsteps and noise from upstairs guests were easy to hear.
But later that night, we walked the property and the atmosphere shifted. It was calm, quiet, and full of cozy corners to sit, talk, and reconnect.
Despite a few flaws, this place made a lasting impression. The private pool alone makes it worth a return trip—and we definitely plan to come back.
