Very run down

We choose Holiday inn express all the time so we know what we will get. This was the worst we have seen very run down. The office chair was covered in some white substance (hopefully glue) the stay was ok seemed clean and no hair on the sheets.

Had to wait on front clerk who had put out a sign saying he was out and would be back in 10 min. I was given a room on the 2nd floor & then told the elevator was out & there were no more rooms on 1st floor even though I had booked the room the week before. We found this on Expedia and walked in to ask for a room because we were just stopping on a road trip for the night. They said they were out of rooms. We got on Expedia in the parking lot, booked a room, walked back in and got the key. The hot breakfast was not very good, and the pancake machine was broken. We booked this hotel because it had an indoor hot tub, but it was out of order and wasn’t even filled with water.

Did not have a great stay here. Booked a room with 2 queen beds. They did not have the room available when we got there so kids slept on a pull out couch (which was not comfortable). The pool was not clean looking; hot tub was drained. Breakfast was not fresh and pancake machine was broken. Breakfast area was not clean.

Hotel is terrible disrepair. Beds were completely broken and very itchy. Sunken in the middle of each bed. Couch bed was broken. We did not sleep and had a long day on the road the next day. Breakfast was decent. Tile broken in bathroom. Staff was apologetic.

Needs some upkeep

Great service from the front desk, however the property was in need of repairs and general upkeep. The weeds and grass were overgrown, one of the beds was broken, exterior window was broken and no room darkening shades present, the hot tub was out of order, and the pool was freezing. Again, the front desk was very kind and attentive, but the overall state of the hotel is what needs attention.

The hospitality was next to none! The lady at the service desk and the lady making breakfast were awesome! However, the beds in our room were terrible. They looked like they were about to fold in half. The had a terrible dip in the middle all the way across. Not comfortable at all. They definitely need to upgrade them.

The elevator was not working, which honestly was not a big deal. Then we discovered that our room’s deadbolt wouldn’t work so I requested a room change. Which we were granted. The room was not super clean but the beds were comfortable. The pool had a lock on it so I assumed it was closed. Later found out that you just had to ask to have lock opened? Not sure why. Also the hot tub appeared to be empty and had caution tape all around it.
