The hotel is looking a bit tired and worn. The breakfast was underwhelming. Too many pastries and not enough savory food. What they did offer was scrambled egg and sausages under a heat lamp that didn't provide enough heat so they were cold every day. No toaster for the bread. A grill that people were trying to use. The staff at reception were very accommodating as well as the restaurant.

We are just back from visit to Ischia and our stay at the Aragona Palace Hotel was the perfect base for our first, but not last, visit to this beautiful island. The hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance of local amenities, such as restaurants, shopping and the beach, and transport links to get around the island. The hotel itself has a full range of facilities, with great food and ever helpful and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable with a a view over the harbour.

The staff and the location were great. The room had a terrace and a wonderful view. The bathroom had an odor around the toilet area. It was a little small and the door opened onto the toilet. The walls of the shower had mold in the grout which could have been cleaned up with a little bleach spray. The hotel was in a good spot with restaurants out the door and to the right which made it convenient. Out the door and to the left the shop area was located.

We really enjoyed our Honeymoon stay at Aragona! The location in the port is super convenient for the ferry and you are very close to lots of dining options as well as shopping. The breakfast buffet was great and we really enjoyed the view of the port from the rooftop heated pool. The staff was very friendly to us Americans and made sure we felt very welcomed!
