We booked in for two nights, no breakfast. Whilst the room was clean it was absolutely soulless, no pictures on the walls, no soft furnishings of any kind, nothing that made it anything other than a functional space. On the flip side, the bathroom was obviously newly decorated and was luxurious in comparison to the bedroom although the shower was a bit ‘weedy’. No one cleaned our room whilst we were there, or checked

The room was a simple room but ideal for my stay. I'd consider it value for money. Room and bedding was clean. TV. Quite spacious. En suite was also clean and the shower had plenty of room and hot water. Wall heater easy to use. Quiet overnight. The bar was laid back. Food reasonably priced. Locals pub. Choice of beers. The Bridge is a very well-run establishment with great staff and good food. The rooms are excellent - clean and tidy and well furnished. The bar and dining areas are overdue re-decoration, otherwise it would be a 5-star review, but hopefully we can drum up more customers so there will be money to spend. The staff are friendly and welcoming and clearly work very, very hard.

Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!

A lovely olde world pub, with a friendly Irish Manager. The only downfall was the cleaners who were moving furniture round in the room next door at 8am in the morning, which continued until we got up at about 9.15.
