Avoid this hotel!! This is a scam hotel. After I read the reviews I thought this would be a great place to stay….wrong! They must take down the bad reviews because when we got there the parking lot was basically empty which is strange for a hotel but we still went in and checked in. The girl was very nice and was able to provide us a room on the first floor. When we walked into our room at first it looked clean…..until I walked closer to the bed and there was a stain. My husband walked into the bathroom and the shower was dripping but not like a simple 1-2 drops more like someone had left the shower on a bit and the shower was all wet, he thought someone had just taken a shower. He walked over to the close and turns out there was a dead cockroach in there. At this point I was ready to leave but was unsure….until he went to close the bathroom barn style door and the bottom of the handle came away from the door. That was our sign to maybe change rooms. We all went back to the front where they changed us to the 2nd floor. Which after everything you have already read I’m sure your not surprised the 2nd room wasn’t any better. The sheets were stained and the ceiling above the door looked like it was leaking and the ceiling near by was peeling. But what really got to us was the fact that the floor between the beds had a dip. As in had we stayed we would have woke up checking people in ourselves in bed. This place is a hazard and an accident waiting to happen! We ended up leaving!

Bad front desk service

My first problem I had is when I arrived there was a line full of people and I was in line in my wheelchair there was several women's at the desk one I was told was the manager that was helping another young lady so when it was my turn to be checked in I waited to be greeted the manager nor the young lady looked at us they kept looking away from us so my partner said just step up I said no I'm going to see if they recognize me and I never got recognized I stood there for like 5 minutes and another young lady came in I guess they was changing shift and said would you like some beads it was Saint Patrick's Day around that time and we said yes she said have you been helped and I said no so when she checked us in I say can I speak to the manager and my jaw drop when she said this is the manager right here so you tell me the manager been standing here the whole time and did not recognize me and she said I was disabled the manager excuse was I thought you was with someone else that shouldn't have been a thought you should have greeted or ask everybody in the lobby have you been helped but I wasn't one of the ones she asked and it hurt my feelings so bad

The main lobby area for lounging right near the entrance wasn’t super clean. There was dirt and trash on the floors. The hallway outside our room had a lot of dried mud in the carpet.

Roaches

We checked in around 7 pm. The front desk was busy so we waited about 20 mins. Checked in was efficient. We went to our room and it was ok for visual cleanliness. The floor needed a sweeping, but the mattresses looked new and clean. We showered, got into bed, shut the lights off and my son tells me he sees a bug. We turn the lights on a the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen is running along the headboard area. My husband grabbed some tissues and snatched it. Google lens verified it was a cockroach. We brought it to the front desk where all they said was it might not be a roach but we can move your room. We checked out and stayed a different hotel. The manager was not in that night. We stopped back the next day and she was also not there. Called a customer number who said we need to speak with the manager for any monetary refund.

Nice Gem Despite The Outside

This hotel is very nice. Don’t be fooled by the scenery, it definitely needs some landscaping. However the staff very nice, and the rooms are very clean. It’s very close by Tanger mall and nice restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The shower is soooo relaxing. I can go on and on. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the landscaping and the breakfast was out of a lot of things. Overall great stay, clean environment and friendly staff. They even let me check in early and out a little late lol. 10/10 highly recommend.

Hotel has a chic superficial feel / I think as a means to dress up a shabby best western hotel. Surrounded by a chain link fence and weeds, first impressions are not the best. Old carpet, less than new bathroom grout, inedible breakfast.

Very clean, open & inviting. Decor was fun. Room was well furnished. The bed was super comfy! Dense like a futon but with the right softness. After a 5 hour flight and a 4 hour drive, it was heaven! Breakfast had the usual cold stuff, same with the hot stuff. But they also had hash browns & folded egg cheesy omelets which were both (new to me) nice breakfast options. Good assortment in their sundry shop.
