Hotel Sagrada Familia was our place of respite in Barcelona for two nights. It is a very nice, simple hotel close to many amenities, especially close to the famous Sagrada Familia (only 2 blocks away). There are many sites to see not far away and local transportation is readily available. Both CityBus and Barcelona Bustoristic (both are hop-on-hop-off tourist rides) have close-by stops and will give you great access to the city as well as guide info while you ride.
The hotel has nice rooms, not expensive, but are definitely on the no-nonsense side. Everything is clean and easy to access. We were checked in by the sweetest hostess, Serena, who treated us as her long lost grandparents and was the most helpful of any "clerk" we have ever found.
The offered breakfast menu is very European continental and presently at 8Euro per person. There are many stores and restaurants close by if you desire something a bit more fulfilling.
In all, if you are looking for an inexpensive spot to stay in Barcelona, I would recommend this hotel for you.
