We had an amazing stay at The Stratford, the hospitality was incredible and we enjoyed our time exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We had a delightful time staying at Stratford with Anne. The property was spacious and well maintained, and Anne provided impeccable service with fresh cookies, wine & cheese, and incredible breakfasts. The location was great, as we could walk to anywhere in Bar Harbor and easily hop in the car to head to the park. We absolutely loved our stay!

This is an older home but very quaint and clean. The bathroom was very small but the room was spaceous and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff was very help and friendly. I can not say enough great things about Ann and her hospitality!! The breakfasts were delicious! She also had some great restaurant and activity recommendations. She even shared some books and maps of the area. It was great getting to know other people staying there and hearing about what they did or were going to do in the area. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat! Everything was an easy walking distance and we had our own designated parking place.

Anne was so nice, we felt like honored guests in her home. Breakfasts were delicious and the room was quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Only a short drive to Acadia national park. What was totally unexpected was an opportunity over breakfast to meet the other guests and learn from their daily experiences and gain new recommendations. Highly recommend!

This charming historical B&B is conveniently located within walking distance to Bar Harbor. The owners are fantastic and truly know how to make their guests feel welcome. Each morning’s breakfast was delicious, making me wish I could stay longer. I highly recommend this property for your stay

Anne and Bob were terrific hosts, the site was spot on convenient to downtown and the national park shuttle buses, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. Great stay overall.

Ann and Bob run a beautiful B&B. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The gourmet breakfast each morning is delicious and included. Then at 5pm, they have a wine and cheese offering. It was a fabulous experience and we look forward to going back to the Stratford.

Wonderful innkeepers! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Very easy to get to Acadia National Park. Delicious hot breakfast every morning. All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

Stratford is a beautiful Bed&Breakfast. The location is fantastic. It’s quiet but very close, walkable distance to the town and restaurants!! Anne, the owner is such a nice person and SPOILS her guests. Afternoon wine and cheese, cookies all day and an incredible and sumptuous breakfast. The room was beautiful and the whole house is very clean. We would definitely go there again.

It’s a house that has seven rooms for guests usage. The hostess is very friendly, she provides breakfast for all the guests, like in a family home. The drawbacks are bathroom is very small, and faucet water is easy to splash out; the sink vanity is small and not much room for the guests to lay out stuff.

Ann is a wonderful host and we had a lovely stay at the Stratford. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully served. We would love to stay there again.
