Rustic stay on route through California Comfortable stay, little bit of road noise but sunrise fantastic
Lynne, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Gladis was very nice during check in. Even made sure we knew what time sunrise over Mono lake was which I thought was very thoughtful. The entire place was very clean and had so much charm!
Brittany, 2-night trip

The staff was nice and on top of everything. I really liked this property. The cabins are very cute, and in close proximity to Yosemite, June lake and Bodie. There's a lot to do around this property.

It is a nice place to stay near Mono Lake. Worked well for us.
Charles, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Reasonable roadside motel. Rooms were dated, but reasonably clean. Property is in need of some repairs, and services were minimal. It’s a bit outside of town, which meant short drives for meals or supplies. It does have a beautiful view of the lake, and staff was courteous.
Thomas, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Located in Lee Vining, this property sits directly on Mono Lake and offers some fantastic views. The room was clean, quaint, but has all you'd need to be comfortable and help explore the surrounding areas/Yosemite Park!
Kevin, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The view was great but the bed was broken and there was no tv. Otherwise this place was great and there were lots of places to relax outside to take in the view of the lake. I’d highly recommend staying there - just bring something for the evening entertainment.
Sheri, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Best view of Mono Lake in all of Lee Vining and also dog friendly. There was a lot of 395 noise but it luckily died down at night. We all loved the front porch and well shaded lawn. We would definitely stay here again!
Rebecca, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Good service and very clean
Claudia, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This was one of the best property if you want to stay near Yosemite national park and still use modern facilities. We got here on a warm day. It was bit hot in the cabin. There was no AC working but had a Aircooler. Overnight the weather cooled so we had opened windows to cool the room. Other than the AC condition everything was perfect. Very clean and nice bathrooms and charming place to stay.

A very charming property set right along highway 395 and in a wood shaded area that also has a river running through it. There are plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the view of Mono Lake across the highway. Very beautiful and scenic. It can be a bit loud with the cars but we didn't mind. No TV, Wi-Fi is available but there was enough connection (T-Mobile) for emails and web browsing. It's a cabin in the woods. All amenities enough for what we needed. Wouldn't mind coming back next time we're in the area.

4/10 Poor

Asthetics? Yes. Great there. Amenities? No. No TV. No Wi-Fi (Offered, but signal is horrible). Wish the tub came with instructions. No shower; surprise. The floor needs dusting and mopping. Small everything: small bed (and I'm short), small table, barely 1.5 seats available. Great views to the lake. Have to drive out for everything.
KEVIN, 3-night trip

4/10 Poor

Property was run down. Rooms were hot and mobile swamp coolers didn't help, I wasn't able to sleep all night.
Daniel, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Pros: The room was great! Wonderful view of the lake. Bed was comfortable. Minutes to Leeverling town where there is shopping and dining. Cons: lack of staff. Main hotel and “restaurant” are non existent and not in working order. Noisy highway right in front. Motion lights go off and on all night. Sprinklers are set to go off at midnight-1am. Seriously? They are loud. Woke us up. The grounds need to be trimmed and weeded. It looks halfway. Either they are trying to bring it back to life or it is dying. Definitely not a lodge more of a motel feel.
jennifer, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

There was no tv, but it was cozy. The toilet ran all night had to turn the water to it off for it to stop. Very small room.
Brett, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Views of Mono Lake are the best. The picnic area is great - shaded for a good part, nice tables, and has a stream flowing through it. Some of the newer cabins were nicer. The onsite manager, Gladys is pleasant and addresses your concerns promptly. Linens and towels were new and fresh. Separate sitting area in the room was convenient. The property is RUSTIC (no double pane windows, old bathrooms), sits by highway 395 and you can hear trucks roaring down. Especially true for cabins 10-14. Mattresses are old. Deal breaker for me is that the website advertises a restaurant but that was closed - the manager says closed for the season. I would rate 2.5 if I could.
Ashwinee, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

The location is good, easy to walk to Mono Lake.
June, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Multiple reasons for this review: -no a/c but did provide a room chiller thing, it almost did the job -only one small side window and bathroom window opened so it barely helped with cooling at night -NO hot water in the shower, now I was warm from the room so it almost felt good but it was freezing cold! -I was unsure what to do/who to contact about anything since it wasn’t “typical” hours and even at check in I had to call someone to come and check me into my room. It was just a very strange experience, I would not book here again despite the amazing outdoor areas and views
