Declining Standards – I Won’t Return
I used to stay at the Hyatt Mexico City twice a year for business trips. That’s over now. My recent five-night stay was a disaster: I had to switch rooms three times due to hygiene issues, broken fixtures, and lack of water pressure. On the first night, the bed had hair and torn sheets. No one responded via WhatsApp or phone — I had to call room service just to get clean bedding.
In another room, the showerhead came off mid-shower. In the third, there was barely any water pressure. I also used the laundry service — my clothes went missing for two days, and staff couldn’t track them down until the morning I checked out.
Throughout the stay, the staff was distant and unhelpful. At checkout, the attitude was downright rude.
This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel in this category. I won’t be coming back.
