It was very clean and nicely decorated. The house is a cool old building. The AC worked great (important, as it was super muggy outside.) I was only there for a couple nights but I think it would have worked well for a longer stay.

Excellent location for visiting St Louis University. Checking in late at night was annoying, because there was no one in person and I had to fill out forms over the Internet on my phone. Free parking is nice but it was a longer walk than I expected (12 minutes)

The property is impeccably maintained, and very comfortable. The proximity to the SLU campus, which is beautiful to walk through safer than nearby areas, leavens the every detail of the stay. I highly recommend.

I rented this for a friend and her mom to be close to her dad while he is in Barnes Hospital. It was very nice and clean and they enjoyed that it was close and convenient to the hospital. I just basically needed a place to shower and sleep that was comfortable and reasonably priced. This met my needs in so many ways. The only negative was not being able to find a TV channel to watch, but sometimes that technology falls on the user. This was a super nice place. I would do it again definitely.

Great location, but…

Great location with good proximity to downtown, SLU, Blues, and zoo. Small space but nice. We enjoyed to outside shared seating area. Negatives: there is no parking on site unless you pay to use the host’s garage but chances are it will be full. We ended up parking at a garage on SLUs campus and walking. There is also a sign in the bathroom strongly reminding you not to flush any feminine products or diapers but they don’t provide a bathroom trash can. Would stay there again for the location

Cheap but no 5 star.

The thermostat was non-functional. When I contacted the property manager, they stated I could use the remote. There was no remote. It was a horrible experience. The fan switches were chains that had been shortened forcing you to Stan on the bed to adjust the speed and light. This would not be an easy thing to do for seniors. There are nails in the walls with no purpose. The bath towels were worn out and bleached. The bedding was soaking in dryer sheet fragrance and or detergent that never washed out leaving it almost impossible to use. The vents are caked with dust. There is a mirror in the corner that serves no purpose. The lighting is horrible with only a nightstand light and the fan light. The irony is that they refer to themselves as 5 stars. Far from it.

This was my first time staying somewhere other than a hotel or with family, and I was so happy I chose this cute little apartment! I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The building was easy to find and access, and I felt safe and secure (young female traveling alone). The space was very clean and met all my needs. It was easy to navigate the area and was within walking distance of a few restaurants and a CVS. The property manager responed very quickly with all questions that I had, and the building was very quite (I only heard one other guest coming up the stairs one night but never saw anyone the entire time I was there). I'm looking at booking this space again for my next visit in the spring. The only thing I wish it had was curtains on the three large, beautiful windows in the bedroom. Although there are nice blinds, curtains would help with some of the light coming thru at night. But this is a personal preference; I like to sleep with it very dark.

Overall i rated this property as 9.5/10. The location was central for my needs and functionality. The building is older but many aspect have been renovated. It has easy access to many local attractions and restaurants. It is near the St. Louis University campus across from the Law school. St Francis Xavier Catholic church is one block away. Parking in the garage was $15/night but was convenient and lessened the stress about paying meters. Ms Tyshea was an excellent hostess for the property. Easily accessibly by phone. The property has electronic entry to the apartment and to the building. There is a deadbolt lock on your apartment door which you can lock from the inside. What i liked was it was a one bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. You have a small dining room area next to a small living room or family room. For visitors in St. Louis it is centrally located: SLU, Fox Threater, Powel symphony Hall, Barnes hospital (BJC), Basilica of St. Louis and many more attractions.
