We absolutely loved our stay. I wish we got to stay longer. The hotel and the town are so lovely and peaceful. I could have easily stayed there for three days. The staff was so kind. The room was comfortable and very luxurious. Breakfast was yummy.

Beautiful grounds, convenient just outside of San Gimignano so more quiet but close to town for easy access there and all over Tuscany. Perfect home base for travelers. Restaurant ok, limited menu but you are in Tuscany so restaurants everywhere. Very cordial staff. Augusto especially helpful there.

Amazing stay at Cappuccina, there are some negative reviews but I can’t see why at all. We were upgraded to the Junior Suite, and offered free Prosecco. Amazing friendly staff. The suite was lovely, pool area is amazing, plenty of sunbeds. Short drive / walk to san gimingano , we will be back for sure.

What a lovely find. This is a hotel, not a B&B, with a gorgeous pool area, a lovely breakfast and Prosecco in the lobby each afternoon. They seem to be renovating and upgrading, making it even better. The bed in our room was very nice, as was the bedding and the shower was excellent. Lots of hot water, good pressure and easy in and out. Would love to stay here again.

This place was 5 star amazing! The rooms were very nice, the restaurant had great food and wine, and the staff were very nice and helpful. My BIGGEST recommendation is to rent a car!!!! Taxis are not easily available and it’s very inconvenient. We have to give a HUGE shoutout to Augusto & Francesco who went above and beyond to get us a taxi and ended up driving us to the train station themselves. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and we will be back.

Beautiful area and friendly staff. The grounds need a lot of work. Be aware of where you park. Their landscaping edging tore the front mask off our car and significantly increased the cost of our trip. We’ll see how they respond when we get the totals back from the rental car agency and our insurance.

I just want to preface this review by saying that I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews, normally keep them to myself. Firstly, not the easiest to get to by public transport. The bus stop is only 5-10 mins walk, but it’s up quite a hill without a safe footpath. With suitcases this isn’t an enjoyable task especially when the gravel driveway makes wheeling the luggage very hard. Anyway, on to the hotel. The decor of our room did not look like the rooms which were depicted on the website. It was very very dated and just didn’t look nice. The beds were quite uncomfortable. Despite our room being not far from the reception area, the wifi connection was not strong enough to use in the room. The restaurant at the hotel was poor. The food was not good (including very undercooked pasta) and the service was extremely slow (over an hour and 15 mins from ordering for 2 pastas to be served). The restaurant staff were not overly helpful. The pool area is beautiful, but everything else needs an update. San Gimignano is a lovely town, but probably wouldn’t stay here next time
