Staff were friendly and the room was clean. However, I assume the put dogs and their owners in their most dated and tired looking rooms as they aren't bothered about damage to them, seems a little unfair given you pay a premium to bring a dog! Overall, the room was nice enough for a short stay, but needs asome improvements such as better pillows to be comfortable for longer.

To make something right goes beyond words, not asked upon checking out how was my stay. I had to complain to head office and just sent back to the local hotel who does not really care about customer experience. House keeping banging on the door at 10:00AM!!, when checkout was at 11:00!! Offered no compensation for the very scary and rude experience. It seems they do not want future bookings!

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights. Very attentive staff, public areas very clean. Bedrooms could perhaps do with a bit of modernisation - lighter colours might make the rooms feel bigger - but all in a good night sleep and had everything we needed. Food very good and reasonably priced.
