Vi valgte et hotel med bar og restaurant, troede vi. Men så skal man være en del af en pakkerejse. Værelset er dejligt stort men slidt. Der er ikke tænkt på ophold uden for værelset.

Ich war in Gifhorn aufgrund des Mühlenmuseums, das war sehr schön. Das Hotel ist nur 10 Min Fußweg entfernt, deswegen hatte ich es ausgesucht. Es ist nicht das Neueste, aber für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp hat es gereicht. Essen ist leider nicht nach meinem Geschmack gewesen. Abends habe ich einen unreservierten Platz bekommen, das war sehr nett von dem Personal und es gab Buffet, nicht nach Menükarte. Das Essen war leider nicht meins und die Auswahl sehr wenig für 20 €. Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war ok.

Our second stay. But still the service is not up to standard. At the breakfast you are met with tables with reservations on them and you have to look for a table that is free. They all looked reserved. No help from the staff Toilet paper is a cheap fabric. The photos make it look like there’s a nice bar. But that’s not the way it is when you are there

Hotel schon etwas älter. Check-In um 15.00 Uhr für uns spät, da unsere Anreise schon Mittags und dann niemand an der Rezeption. Frühstück nur Durchschnitt, zwar alles irgendwie da, aber Kaffee z.B. in Kannen auf dem Tisch (Filterkaffee), der nach einer bestimmten Zeit nicht mehr schmeckt.
