Dirty, Old and Rundown
This was an overnight stop for us as part of a longer business trip. Would not stay here again. I travel a lot for work and can overlook some things however..... trash and dirty towels in the hallway (checked in around 9pm I think) should have been the first red flag.
First room we checked into (315) the beds were clean however that was it.
Issues: dirty bathroom - toothpaste splattered all around the sink, on the wall and near the mirror. Hair in the shower (visible clumps of hair) on the walls and shampoo bottle. Carpet was extremely dusty/hair around the edges of the room. Door lock was broken. Room smelled musty. AC wasn't cooling very well with thermostat set at 67. The front desk attendant was very nice to move us to room 323. That wasn't much better though. Room 323 STILL had hair in the shower (quite visibly), trash wrappers on the bathroom floor, dirty carpets (hair, dust, crumbs) and the room smelled moldy (not just musty). The AC did work well in 323. We were charged a $75 pet fee (my employee had her dog with her) and couldn't even let her dog out of her crate because the room was so dirty.
Essentially I paid full price for a room (plus the pet fee paid by my employee) and couldn't let her dog have some space to stretch out. We couldn't use the shower and quite frankly, with how dirty it was I'm not sure they're properly changing out the linens between guests. They didn't even offer to comp the pet fee and I expected better from a Marriot line of hotels.
