Amazing!! Rooms were clean, modern, and super comfy. The shower had a rainfall shower head and the water was nice and hot. But most of all, the staff were spectacular! We were greeted immediately and helped with our luggage and even better…. Fanny at reception allowed us to feed bananas to the wild monkeys around the property! Which if you’ve only seen monkeys in a zoo you will understand how special that experience would be. Definitely would stay again!

Very unique property. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Made the stay comfortable. Helped us with getting to Xcaret safely via shuttle. Property is in the jungle so must be ok with bugs, lizards, iguanas and monkeys in the area. Lobby and pool were outside directly beside rooms. Bed was clean and comfortable, shower was hot. Nice and close the all Xcaret parks making it very convenient to attend. Would stay again if going to the parks! Thank you!

This property is small, tranquil, and just lovely. We have stayed at the huge Cancun resorts and this was our first time in Playa Del Carmen. We chose this hotel for its great reviews and close proximity to Xcaret. The staff at Terasu Riviera Hotel is incredible! We arrived late at night due to flight delay, and Fernando was waiting in the entrance for us and took our bags and walked us to our room. The next day we met Fanny at breakfast and she helped us plan our day at Xcaret. Fernando indicated he would walk us to the bus that would take us to Xcaret and waited there with us. Xcaret is amazing and the best part is the show that runs from 7-9 pm. We arrived on the bus and there was Fernando ready to walk us back to our room. A gentleman named Jorge heard our delighted reaction at spotting spyder monkeys at breakfast and he lured them over with bananas and allowed us to feed them. Another member of their staff, Enemencio went out of his way to provide us with anything we needed. Fanny arranged for a taxi to take us to dinner in town and gave us a restaurant recommendation that was perfect. We received a text that night from Fernando offering to send a taxi for us and we were so relieved as it got late. Also, we had no idea until our last night that their chef is so talented and we had the best dinner there! (Pizza made in a wood burning oven). Aside from the incredible staff, the hotel is set in the jungle and it is a refreshing change from huge, busy hotels with loud music.

My family and I had a great experience during our stay at Terasu. All the staff members were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. They accommodated to our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel itself was very private but close to Xcerat and Xplor. Not only that, we were able to feed monkeys during our stay and play with a very cute cat. On our last day, the staff even packed us a separate container of their house-made hot sauce and mangos per request. If anyone wants a quiet, peaceful stay, I would definitely recommend.

Terasu Riviera Maya Hotel and Spa was a wondrous place. It had the charm of jungle ambiance including spider monkeys always eager to eat bananas and iguanas creeping along to get their share of the bananas. The staff was exceptional always ready to assist and recommend suggestions to restaurants, ruins, cenotes and parks. I’m already planning a trip next year to bring my daughter and granddaughter to Terasu.

The place looked kinda odd at first but once there best choice I made. Everything was great. Loved everything and got to experience the monkeys passing through, feed them with bananas staff gave us the experience was crazy definitely would go back 10/10 recommend :)

Amazing!!!! Like a little oasis! Way cooler than the area because of the jungle! So many monkeys that came to eat bananas! The staff provided us with bananas, and my kids fed the spider monkeys and the iguanas. The pool was excellent at night and the food at the restaurant, amazing!!!!

Excelente opción para llegar a descansar después de los Parques Xcaret, propiedad muy tranquila, excelente atención por parte de Fernando y Fanny. Incluye el Desayuno que estaba muy rico y la alberca aunque pequeña estaba limpia y muy fresca. Por la noche puedes cenar Pizza a la Leña o algunas otras opciones de menú del Restaurante Emilio’s, también muy rico! Hay monos alrededor que se acercan por la Mañana si les ofreces algo de fruta. Sin duda una excelente opción !!

If you're looking for an adventurous day and peaceful night, this is the place for you. Its close to Xcaret and xplore theme park (walking distance). Close to main road, easy to take local buses to Playa del Carmen or Tulum. The staff are great, very pleasant and helpful. They speak Spanish and English. They have a pool to relax and nice feel of relaxation. They offer breakfast, unlimited coffee and wifi. During the morning, you can get awaken by a spider Monkey. They're friendly and cute for some videos and pictures. I will be back!!

The employees made us feel welcome and we were very happy with all them. Very quiet environment. My wife loved the peaceful environment I wanted more of a resort. Had to leave a few days earlier early and staff was super helpful about it and nice about it.
