It’s all about location

It’s all about the location, forget about everything else. I traveled from United States and based on my experience I can tell this is a two star hotel. There is no air conditioning, it’s just a fan. Hotel breakfast was not worth it but thank goodness there are so many cafe and restaurant around the hotel.

Two main issues impeded my stay at the Royal Plaza by Stellar Hotels: the wifi and the bathroom. During my entire stay, the wifi was unreliable: there was only one area where the wifi would consistently connect and that was right next to the door - attempting to connect at the desk in the room or from my bed was near impossible as it would connect for a couple of minutes then lose signal. As for the bathroom, a constant leak dripped from the ceiling. Luckily the drip went straight to the bathtub but it smelled horrible and when the hotel staff came to check on it, it still dripped despite their reassurance that the issue had been fixed. Besides the negatives, the hotel was at a good central location in Yerevan. Nothing was too far away and fortunately, during my stay, there was a food festival happening right down the street. Hotel staff was nice professional and helped with booking an additional day on top of my stay as well as helped me get a taxi to the airport when my stay was over.

The internet was terrible, there was no one to clean the room and I had to call them to come and clean the room and when I entered the hotel they gave me the worst room even though I had booked a room with a balcony and stayed there for 3 hours. And I argued with them to change my room. The person who was responsible for cleaning the rooms protested all the time that I am one person and cannot clean all the rooms and I am very tired. I did not have a good experience with this hotel and I will never come to this hotel again

Лобби ппокурено, т.к. в кафе постоянно курят. Находиться в самом кафе не пропахнув дымом невозможно, еды там тоже нет, ресторан работал только на завтраки. Завтраки скудные, сосиски в пленке, омлет подгорелый, не очень чисто, как-то без души. В номере в какое-то утро закончилась горячая вода, потекла ржавая, сантехника тоже работает наполовину. Сказать, что там чисто, нельзя, т.к. затем съехал в другой отель, который был и значительно дешевле, и с полным вкусным завтраком, и действительно чистым и т.д. В общем, совсем не Роял и если хотите хорошее впечатление о Ереване, то поищите еще:)

Good location, bad service and unclean.

Close to the city centre but the hotel staff didn't have the necessary competence to give good service for tourists. Lack of information and the hotel breakfast was not good are among things that bothered us. Not the 4 star quality that we were promised.
