Friendly staff at check in, hotel seemed farly new and was very clean. Will definitely stay here again if I revisit the Faroes!

The hotel is very convenient to the main shopping/dining district in Torshavn. It was about a 10 minute walk to many restaurants. The ferry/bus terminal was about a 5 minute walk away and it was very easy to get the 300 bus to the airport from this terminal. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the included breakfast had a nice selection. There was a nice perk in that if you chose green and declined daily room servicing you could receive one can of beer or soda per room for each day. We were able to try some of the local beer by doing this. The hotel is on a major street so there was some noise from the vehicles driving by but I would recommend the sea view (which also faces the road). I would definitely stay at Hotel Djurhuus again!

This hotel is bad. Breakfast was good and people were nice, but our room was horrible. Old and dirty, and you can hear everything from the hall. Hotel offer the gym that is unavailable. I would not stay there again. Torshavn is a very small town and all the hotels are in a walking distance to the downtown.

Excellent hotel, great service & always warm.

This is a lovely hotel which is spotlessly clean with very helpful staff in every way. The location is excellent- only a short walk into town with free parking at the front. The view is amazing - ask for a front room, we didn’t but luckily got one. The hotel is warm despite the weather outside (although it was pleasant when we were there in August. The only down sides are that the soundproofing between rooms is dreadful and the bed was extremely soft. We heard next door talking all the time and pings / alarms on phones which didn’t seem to get turned off! We prefer a harder bed so struggled with the softer mattress. However, overall we had a great stay (coffee / tea machine in rooms aswell as free tea / coffee from the breakfast room all day aswell as being able to eat a take away in the hotel at any time we wanted in that room). The cleaning staff were amazing; reception staff always polite and helpful; breakfast staff were very efficient - nothing was too much trouble for any staff. Thank you for a lovely stay and we recommend Hotel Djurhuus to anyone.

Et relativt enkelt hotell med alt du egentlig trenger for noen dager på Færøyene. God frokost, nær buss- og fergeterminal og en kort gåtur både til bysentrum og vandring langs kysten.

Hotel Djurhuus er et afslappet og hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk venligt og serviceminded personale. God morgenmad og hyggelige værelser og indretning. Og god placering i forhold til at udforske Tórshavn til fods.

De vil snyde os til at tage et ubrugeligt værelse

De gav os et værelse , hvor der var nogen der lige skulle have deres bagage ud, det viste sig at vinduet ikke kunne åbnes, der var noget gået i stykker, rummet var alt for varmt , så det var umuligt at være der endsige sove , vi gik straks tilbage og sagde at vi ville have et andet værelse , receptionisten ringede så op og spurte hvad hun skulle gøre , hun fortale at der var ingen der ville have det værelse , nu havde hun prøvet med flere, det var meget dårligt betjening at prøve at snyde flere til at få et dårligt værelse , vi fik så et værelse ud bagtil uden udsigt. Vi bookede et værelse en måned før , så vi for ventede en bedre behandling

Centralt beliggende

Super centralt. Rigtig god Continental morgenmad. Venligt personale. De går op i miljøet og man kan derfor fravælge, fx at få skiftet håndklæder dagligt. På minus siden blev der ikke støvsuget jævnligt eller fjernet affald, på trods af, at vi havde vendt skiltet til at få gjort rent. Men anbefaler det på trods af dette, da det overordnet set har en god standard.
