But the facility, rooms, bathrooms, etc. could really use updating, painting, remodeling, etc. It's just an old hotel. Also, when we exited the elevator on the 2nd floor to go to our room, the whole hallway reeked of marijuana smoke. Not sure which room it was coming from.

This hotel really does it right. It is centrally located and offers a complementary breakfast. The staff I encountered on check in, middle of stay and check out were fantastic. I felt at home and easily could have stayed several more nights if my calendar was not so tight. I will come back and stay again and will consider this brand for future stays.
