Hotel personnel is eager to help you with everything and any need gets's fulfilled fast (extra pillows or towels, booking of transportation). Bed was extra wide providing comfort. We were on wedding anniversary trip and it was nicely noticed with a card a piece of chocolate cake. Location couldn't be better- main sights and restaurants & cafe's are within easy walking distance.

Perfect for a long weekend in Vienna

This is a traditional, elegant, discreet hotel. It has a superb location. Lighting is excellent. Many outlets for charging phones, etc. and very? Very quiet. Note: for those traveling lightly, this hotel is around the corner from the U3 Herrengasse stop making it incredibly easy to take the CAT airport train to the city and then transferring to the U3. There is no faster, easier way (and much, much cheaper than a taxi).

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Staff were very professional, with no problem speaking English. Steigenberger hotel is so close to Michaelerplatz which was brilliant for getting to see places on foot. A special thanks to one of the receptionists named Y. Pena Mata. She was so hard working and always greeted myself and my husband with a lovely smile, a credit to the hotel. We will definitely return.
