Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The rooms are basic and clean, but have no air conditioning and there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes if you open the window. But it’s the noise that is notable. Every sound in the hallway is amplified in your room. If you’re looking for a private room with a clean bed and shower that’s near the D-Day sites, this one will definitely work.

Decent hotel just outside the city center. Nice big rooms with good bed but still a little basic. Bathroom was having a tub which was nice. Lot of parking space on the spot and friendly staff. Daily menu in the restaurant is good in price and quality.

A French speaking hotel, friendly staff, good selection of food available for both evening meal and breakfast. Our room was facing the main road, and this was a 24-hour main road so there was traffic noise throughout the night. A short walk from Sainte-Mere-Eglise.

The probably listed from reviews, three stars. How this happened is beyond me. I booked two rooms one with two separate beds. The reception said there is one room with one bed and one child’s bed. I said that fine and paid. Went to the room and it was one beds. Went back in to correct it and she said says you booked two rooms with one bed. Not the case, even she said one room with two separate beds. I said ant the room with the two separate beds and she charged me an inconvenience fee of $30. The rooms were very subpar at best, old lighting poor window treatment and the bathroom not very clean. The scary thing is the lighting in the hall ways and by the elevator was dark and lights were off. You can find a light switch and turn on the very low lights gets and a few minutes lighter they turn off. My granddaughter didn’t feel safe. This place is an older hotel that’s poorly and cheaply restored and not worth staying at. Not for families. The two stars is for the breakfast which was fine. When I wanted to complain to the manager he turned away and went to his office to let the front girl to handle my issue. Hotel get a ‘0’ and the breakfast a 2. For a man wanting a no fuss place and doesn’t care about service, this might work for you, but not me and my family.
