The Westin.
The Westin is amazing for sure! We had some hang ups that seemed to be easy fixes but it just kept getting passed to the next person and every time I would bring the issues to someone they would say “oh that’s unacceptable, go speak to *someone else*”. My biggest complaint is feeling gaslit over getting the wrong room. I paid for a delux room and was given a premium, or maybe the other way around. I wanted a bathtub and the luxury of that room, which is why I chose it. I was told this room was the same but when I first called to question my fridge and a lamp not working, I was told then that I was in a less than room and we should go to the front desk. Problem is, it was 11:00pm. We were so tired and beat up from the day. It was a bad travel day. Over all, I expected so much more from Marriott and the Westin. I want to stay again but I’m not sure I will put the money into a room again and not get what I paid for. I was told they won’t guarantee rooms booked through third parties. I wish everyone would work together and put together a rule book so guests who work hard for their money know what they’re up against. If I knew that, maybe I would do things differently. Also the room we were in was the loudest room I have ever been in and the temp of the water out of the faucet is only hot and enough to burn skin.
