Parking lot was a trash dump ,I could tell the all the trash outside was there over a month by the condition of the cigarette butts and paper products. I know we were not staying in the best part of town but there is no reason one person could not spend 1 to 2 hours a day picking up trash. I was there for 2 days and did not see any attempt to clean the outside up. it was pretty disgusting. the first thing a guest should see is not a trashy parking lot and front entrance.

This Candlewood Suites is a slept on gem in the Reading, PA area. Walking distance to a slew of diverse restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. Attentive staff who went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable with settling in for a few days. Free coffee, gym, laundry, fast wifi and free rental of games, books and other kitchen appliances; they’ve thought of everything. Would recommend it over the fancier hotels that I’ve stayed at before in the area.
