Very noisy location in August

In many ways a fantastic location, good sized rooms looking out over the harbour, nice balconies. But the hotel should warn you before booking to stay in July and August that there is a market every night and the noise from that and the adjacent bars and restaurants is very loud and continues until 1am or 2am. I have never had such a disrupted night at any hotel. If I’d known, we would not have booked to stay here as we went on holiday for a rest. I asked at the desk for some ear plugs but they don’t provide them (not that they would have made much difference to the very loud live band playing until the early hours on Friday night). In other less touristy months this would be a fine place to stay in La Ciotat but it is not exceptional or even standout in my experience.

Best place to stay in La Ciotat

We loved this hotel. It’s in the perfect spot overlooking the harbour. Staff are all polite and helpful. The pool was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. It was a comfortable enjoyable stay. We originally booked 5 nights but loved it so much we added another two nights. The hotel is in the middle of many eating places and within easy walk of a well stocked food store and a sandy beach.

Absolutely fabulous! Superb location, wonderful harbour views, gorgeous roof top pool. Choose a junior suite with harbour view if you can, it’s well worth the extra money. We stayed in room 308, gorgeous, spacious room with terrace and a great view. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, secure onsite parking with a cost but again worth the money. Wouldn’t hesitate to return….

Lovely Hotel

Lovely hotel at the water front overlooking the port. We took a junior suite which has a balcony and is in the shade in the afternoon. Worth the extra cost for us as we were able to relax in the evenings on the balcony. The rooms on the other side of the hotel with the city view would have the sum all afternoon. Rooftop pool was lovely and often empty. Very nice

Great place to stay on La Ciotat harbor!

We stumbled upon this town because our room in Cassis was AWFUL so we looked for ‘nearest port in the storm’ w/a last minute room! It was perfect! Hotel is on the harbor, La Ciotat was having an outdoor harbor concert so it was lively w/locals & tourists alike. All the outdoor cafes lining the harbor were bustling, w/a huge variety of cuisine available! Shops along the side streets, very walkable area. The concert started when we were going to bed so we used white noise app to drown out the sound and fell asleep with no problem.
