Tatoosh hike
The bed in room 9 was the best bed I have ever slept on in a motel. Nice quiet room.

The service was excellent. The staff tended to our every need The room was clean and nice.. the beds were comfortable. The only thing lacking was they had no tv because the service wasn’t on and the pool wasn’t open. That was a bummer but other than that we enjoyed our stay

Great little lodge in the the downtown area of Packwood, walkable to the restaurants and shops, and near Mt Rainier park. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
The Inn itself is older, but is clean, with good wifi. It is currently being refurbished, so some amenities, such as the pool and TVs, may not be currently available.

We stayed here for two days. The property is a bit dated, and you get what you pay for — we booked last minute when few other options were available. That said, the staff were very helpful and friendly, which made the stay more comfortable. The surrounding area has some overgrown vegetation, but the location is a plus — close to the city center and near a few dining spots, though options are somewhat limited.

Completely adequate; nice staff
The Packwood Inn was completely adequate for our purposes which was mainly a hot shower, soft clean bed, and our dog welcome. Room 18's shower faucet needs some help. We were warned the TV didn't work which suits us. Though fully occupied it was quiet. Special treat; Elk came to visit the back lot.

Don't stay here
Old, needs remolding, pour care. Mattress were dirty, plugs fall out of the outlets. Exterior door had large air gaps, door handle nearly fell off. Secondary locks missing ( interior door locks). Pool closed.

The staff was really friendly and great but the property was run down. It seemed like the new manager was planning on over hauling the place but it was very over priced for the condition it was in. No TV, mattress was soft, pulll out bed in suite was broken.

This property is outdated. However, the beds are very comfortable the air conditioning keeps the place cool and it in the middle of nowhere so it definitely beats a tent and mosquitoes. I would have gave it 5 stars, but we needed the pool because we were traveling with kids and the pool wasn’t open. No one told us that. The front desk was extremely accommodating and put our families rooms next to each other. The showers have great water pressure.

Nobody Cares hotel !!
We stayed there for 3 nights to visit Mt.Rainier. We paid over $600 for a family suite and the whole time the TV didn't work. The pool was drained. They never clean our suite for the 3 days even we put the sign out to ask them to clean it.I finally walked to the front desk on the late day to tell them to clean our suite. 2 of the workers came by and dropped off the towels.1 dropped off 2 rolls of toilet paper right on the dining table. She won't even bother to put them in the bathroom. The suite was not cleaned once and the garbage was not emptied all 3 days.It was one of the worse hotel that we stayed in.

Basic motel, but would stay again
The front desk staff was kind and quick to help when we needed it. There was an issue with our room key upon check in, and they explained to us that the hotel has been closed and recently reopened after some renovations. They are still renovating, so the pool was under construction. We got an “original” room, so it was definitely in need of an upgrade, but was clean and functional. The bed was very comfortable, though, the pillows are awful!
The hotel is just off the main road (as are most hotels), so it can be loud when trucks and motorcycles go by. The cable was out, but the internet was working well. The hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants.

This place had no television service. They told me they're been waiting 7 weeks for Direct TV to install a system but I find that hard to believe. My guess is they've never had service and never will. Also the window air conditioner in my room provided no cooling and once again they had an excuse saying they were unaware of the problem and had several new ac units in inventory and would replace the one in my room now that they knew about the problem. Another thing I didn't like was there was no vanity in the bathroom just sink about 11/2 feet square with essential no place to put your accessories such as toothpaste, razor, etc. I won't be staying here again. On the plus side the refrigerator and microwave were functional and the bed was comfortable.
