Walking on the beach

Happy to return to les Sables d’Olonne after 55 years. The place has grown a lot but the beach is still the same. The location of the hotel was excellent 👍

What I didn’t like: No where to park; there is a very expensive car park nearby, which does not take motorcycles or bicycles. We came on motorcycles and had to park in front of a shop 100 meters away on a pavement. There was minimal instant coffee and milk in the room.

Assez déçu. L’hôtel était en travaux. Nous avions payé les petits déjeuner mais nous avons appris 2h avant notre arrivée que l’hôtel était en travaux et qu’il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner possible. Ils offrent un petit déjeuner en compensation (1 canette, 1 compote et 2 mini viennoiseries) mais bon si j’avais su que l’hôtel était en travaux et qu’il n’y avait pas de petit déjeuner je n’aurais pas réservé cet hôtel. Je pense qu’il aurait été préférable de le mentionner au moment de la réservation. Lorsque je vais à l’hôtel ce n’est pas pour manger mon petit déjeuner sur le pouce. Pas de véritable accueil, simplement un bureau dans un coin.. De plus, les chambres sont refaites, c’est joli mais la salle de bain est vieillotte, uniquement une baignoire assez dangereuse, toilettes très petites. Au prix que nous avons payé, ça ne vaut absolument pas le coup. Mise à part les peintures qui sont neuves, et le mobilier (1 banc et 2 tables de chevet), tout le reste est vieux. Impossible de fermer les volets à fonds qui sont très vétustes. Quand vous arrivez devant, c’est très compliqué à voir que c’est un hôtel, pas d’enseigne, pas de signalisation.. L’hôtel est malgré tout très bien situé, c’est ce qui le sauve. Malheureusement, le fait qu’il soit en travaux et que nous n’ayons pas été prévenu avant la réservation, nous sommes déçus des services et ne reviendront pas.

Un très bon séjour dans un hôtel très bien situé au coeur de la partie la plus intéressante des Sables d'Olonne. L'accueil est très sympathique, et toutes les personnes de la réception sont toujours prêtes à rendre service. Chambre au 6ème étage avec belle vue sur une partie de la ville et une partie de la baie. A noter le 'plus' si vous avez un animal : un panier et de quoi donner à boire et manger fournis dans la chambre, très apprécié !!

Un hotel qui va être rénové car nous sentons bien un établissement vieillissant. Le personnel est charmant. Pour sejourner assez souvent dans des hôtels, je trouve que la qualité n'y est pas pour le prix. Nous verrons bien une fois rénové. Le PDJ ne fait pas gourmand, des oeufs brouillés et du porc trop cuit. Bref il y a un vrai effort à faire sur les prestations. Il n'y a pas de parking et les tarifs sont ceux du parking , il n' y a pas de tarifs négocies. Bon sejour sans plus
