My family stayed 5 days at this hotel. The room was very clean and tidy. Furniture was like new. The breakfast was awesome. Many things to choose from and high quality. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpfull. Highly recommended.

Overall we had a lovely stay at Aquasun. The hotel itself is beautiful throughout. Breakfast buffet options were fabulous, though perhaps not as many vegetarian options (which we found on Phụ Quoc generally). Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and experience the island. We did find the rooms somewhat noisy (adjourning rooms had families with young children and the noise woke us early). The surrounding area doesn’t reflect the high standards of the hotel, but does reflect the standards of the way of life for many locals. Lots of amazing food and nightlife options in walking distance and we felt safe wandering around the nearby streets. We had a few minor issues with the room but generally an excellent stay. We would stay again and recommend to others. Terrific value for money!

1000% Impeccable Hospitality

If we could, we would give 10+ for Nam with “glasses” (front desk reception) and the hotel owners for going beyond of taking great care of us during our stay!!! I was sick for two days. On the third day, I called the front desk reception, Nam answered and advised us to go to the SOS clinic (prompt and thorough service) instead of the hospital (long wait) or the other clinic nearby. To our surprised when we came down for breakfast, Nam advised us that he had booked a complimentary taxi to take us to the SOS clinic. While we were having breakfast, a well mannered lady (later found out from Nam that she is the owner) noticed that I wasn’t eating all of my food on my plate and wanted to know if there was anything she can do. I told her that I wasn’t well with my throat hurting when swallowing. She said that I must have strep throat (which was confirmed later by the doctor) and asked if I have rinsed my mouth with salt water. I responded “no” and later send some up to our room. The total cost including doctor checkup, X-ray, blood test and medication was 1.5 M dong (equivalent to $82 CAD). The whole process only took 1.5 hrs which is the fastest result that I have ever experienced! Within two hrs of taking the medication my throat no longer hurts. Upon learning of our early departure at 5 AM, Nam offered a complimentary taxi to the airport and packed up sandwiches and drinks for us. We have recommended this hotel to my family and friends! We definitely will come back!!!

Don't stay at Aquasun

When we arrived, no one came out to help us with our luggage, we had to carry it up the stairs ourselves. I stood at the desk and no one acknowledged me one lady was running around and then eventually the owner offered us welcome drinks. The app for hotels.com glitched and messed up my booking so I had to pay more when I checked in. The breakfast buffet has deli meats, fruit and yogurt baking under sunlight by the window which I think contributed to the yogurt tasting spoiled for 2 breakfasts in a row and it gave me food poisoning. The shower tub is too high you need a step stool to get in and could easily slip getting out or getting into the shower. There's no shower curtain or door so water gets all over the bathroom floor and toilet after every shower. The employees don't smile at you when you leave or enter the hotel. There is no safety lock box. Before I checked out I asked a taxi driver how much a ride to the airport would cost. Compared to Grab, it would be almost the same price. When checking out I asked the hotel employee to arrange a ride to the airport. We got into the same taxi driver's car and at the airport I asked how much I owed him and he gave me a price 4 times more than what he said to me previously. I got upcharged just because the hotel arranged the ride? Just take Grab, don't take any taxi rides or rides arranged by the hotel. They are scammers. At least other hotels had my best interest in mind and would recommend Grab, this hotel only cared for money.

Easy access to the beach Bãi Bà Kèo; the room is very clean, it has a lot of spaces, rooftop pool is excellent, nice ocean view and breakfast buffet is great with local fruits, we are really enjoying it! Definitely come back to stay next time.

Ok hotell med stort rum, men är ju inte sånt hotell man vill bo på sånt här ställe. Rätt ocharmigt. Vi bytte till bo på närliggande resort vid stranden. Läget på hotellet är dock bra, nära till restauranger och strand. Frukosten var stökig och högljöd. Man ville mest därifrån. Passade inte oss alls. Trevlig personal.

What you see is not what you get! Chambre de luxe: mur abîmé, peinture sur plinthe, miroir Touch screen salle de bain non fonctionnel et qui flash, lumière au Led blanc froid - pas terrible pour le romantisme, bain douche qui requiert un petit banc pour y grimper - et sans rideau de douche. Piscine mal entretenue, algues vertes dans les parties ombragées, tuiles devant le bar du roof top cassées, drains de plastiques autour de la piscine brisés, éclats de sang sur le mur donnant accès à la piscine non nettoyés, etc etc. Un gros manque d’entretien général, et si on avait pu quitter pour aller ailleurs, on l’aurait fait. Heureusement qu’ils ont un personnel accueillant (Kay et Van, puis Duong au bar)!
