I really liked the location of the hotel, it is located in the middle of the city and you can go everywhere. The hotelroom was good, the bed was comfortable and we didn't have any mosquitos or other insects inside. The room gets cleaned everyday wirh fresh towels. But: when it rains the room becomes very humid and the outdoor area of the hotel could be better maintaimed: You can't use the pool, it's green and the table outside are dirty.

It is 2 star hotel. Not much English spoken. Had to ask for change of towel twice during my 5 day stay. Warning: pets allowed in this hotel. Had a dog barking late into the night and then early morning for 2 days! You get what you pay for!

The price point and location are about all I can recommend. It wasn’t very clean, they wouldn’t let me borrow a broom to clean the cockroach from my room and there was no hot water in the shower. I suppose I got what I paid for but I’m not even sure about that. I wouldn’t recommend unless you had no other options in your budget.

The toilet stopped flushing, no one came to fix. Only two plugs in the room, one wouldn’t hold a plug so I had to charge electronics in the bathroom. Drapes wouldn’t close, no privacy. No maid service.

Hotel Mucuy has good lcoation, property is close to the city center, parking is just near by hotel. I wish parking lcoation has been communicated with us before we arrived to the hotel, as it was hussle to find right parking. They should send google location to us about where is parking. Although it say parking is available they didn't say we need to pay additionaly to park our car (120 pessos) Second, room was quite OK, we booked triple room, 2 bed mattraces were OK, but thirtd was aged, old and not comfortable. And thirdly, shower pressure was extremely low, water was barely going, so it was impossible to take a proper shower. AC worked OK in the room, so that's a plus. We didn't use pool so I no comment on that. And we skipped breakfast, so I cannot comment on that, too. For budget travels this might be OK place fora night, but for a longer stay you will be irritated you cannot take normal shower, consider outside is very humid and hot and you need to take shower moment you enter the room. Also water didn't wanna to go in shower cabin, drain was very bad.

It is not a matter of “dislike” per se. This is an old, old facility that is being upgraded “ mañana”. For that reason, I could only give the facility two stars. However, there are other aspects to consider. STAFF:10 HVAC:10 DAILEY MAID SERVICE: 10 ONSITE SECURITY:10 BREAKFAST: 9 FACILITY CLEANLINESS: 8 ROOM CLEANLINESS: 8 PROXIMITY TO NUMEROUS RESTAURANT AND VENUES: 10 NEIGHBORHOOD WALKABILITY: 8 Merida, like much of Mexico has narrow, uneven sidewalks that are crumbling. Be careful where you step! I paid for LOCATION & WALKABILITY. Everything else was a bonus! I stayed for 21 days (mid May-Mid June the average daytime temp never dropped below 100F) and for the most part everything was good. Everyday, a staff member asked if I wanted room service if I was still in the room when they came through. Otherwise, they cleaned the room changed the sheets and towels. They have a good breakfast. If I opted to go across the street, I could eat breakfast a Chilakilz. I would stay there again. Muy bien!!

Lo peor de lo peor. Llegué con mi reserva y el Sr. De recepción me dijo que no había habitaciones aún viendo mi reserva. Me hizo esperaredia hora y por fin encontró mi nombre y me volvió a confirmar que ya no hay habitaciones. Si más no más . Sr hágale como pueda que aquí no hay lugar. Deberían vetar a estos tipos de hoteles o ponerles una sanción como mínimo para que no se burlen de los huéspedes

Es bueno por la ubicación, cercana del centro. Pero la limpieza y el servicio, deja mucho que desear... No hicieron la limpieza dos días, nos dijeron que la teníamos que pedir, el día que la pedimos, tampoco la hicieron , cuando fuimos a preguntar nos dijeron que la camarista había descansado , y nos respondió el "encargado": "No se, yo solo soy el encargado" No dio solución, sino hasta que un señor muy amable nos dijo que en un momento iba el a hacernos la limpieza. Los cuartos están deteriorados , pero bueno supongo que por el precio es lo que recibes.
