I barely touched it while putting a towel back and ended up getting an awful second degree burn. I travel in Europe all the time and know better than to touch towel warmers but this one was exceptionally hot, and I wonder if it was set too high in error.

Fine hotel in a good location

Excellent service from the friendly staff at the front desk. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The only problem was a horrible odour coming from the drains. The staff did their best to get rid of it but this kind of problem (which we have encountered in another Paris hotel) requires replumbing.
