A small 'Bijou' hotel that has a very welcoming character. The room, although not big, was perfectly adequate for a three-night stay. We were well looked after by hotel staff. 9 mins stroll from Gare du Lyon, 2 mins walk from bus stop (buses run from as early as 4am to Gare du Nord for onward journey to Charles de Gaul airport), 2 min stroll from nearest metro, easily walkable via Bastille to Marais & ille de France - so location terrific. Surrounding buildings / area - wine bars & bistros & a quiet street with though a harmless resident homeless person. Would I stay here again - definitely, a lovely hotel with amiable staff, comfortable room with good towel bale & terrific shower
