Lite, men veldig koselig overnattingssted i Doune. Vi lå der kun en natt, men hadde alt vi trengte. Nydelig middag på kvelden, og fokosten var heller ingenting å klage på! De som jobbet der var kjempe hyggelige og gav god service. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!!

Excellent. Staff were courteous,helpful and friendly. All meals were excellent and couldn't pick any faults. Stairs were the only problem. Apart from that thanks to all the staff.

We had a very comfortable one night stay at The Woodside. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was done with a smile. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a good location and we were able to walk into town and down to the castle in no time at all. We will definitely return for another stay.

Stayed for 1 night meeting family who came from a wedding in Edinburgh. We all found the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and had excellent facilities.We would definitely stay there again.

Tolle Basis, etwas auf dem absteigenden Ast was die Sauberkeit betrifft. Schimmel an den Duschbrausendüsen, Spinnweben an der Wand. Die Fenster bedürfen einer Sanierung. Die Basis ist gut und schön designed, die Betten bequem (2x 2 Tage hier verbracht). Der Pub stört nicht, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Excellent staff, great food, comfortable bed, excellent biscuits etc , quiet. Decent sized bathroom, floor could have been mopped more thoroughly. For a long stay a wardrobe rather than the wall mounted hanging would be required but perfectly OK for a few days.

The Woodside is easy to find and very well presented. The staff were very friendly and the check in process was very straight forward. The whole hotel gave us a sense it is loved and looked after. It was very clean throughout. Our room was lovely. Just what we needed. High quality, clean, fresh but not over the top. The room was very well equipped and even had a little snack box. It's the little details that make all the difference. We also ate at the restaurant in the evening and had our continental breakfast in the morning. All the food and service was excellent. We'd definitely recommend the Woodside and would not hesitate to stay again.

Stayed one night at The Woodside. Easy check-in. Room was small but all we needed. Nice to have crisps, cholate biscuits, shortbread and water in the room as well as tea and coffee. Breakfast which was included, was first class.

Pro's - staff were extremely helpful and the food was exceptional. Nice modern look to the whole building with great paintings. Con's - being above the bar you hear the music bumping until 11pm and this started again at 8:15am for breakfast. Not ideal for anyone stopping by on a journey and needing an early night or light sleepers. A mini fridge would have been useful as well. We would return for food 100% but I dont think we would be staying again.

Nice wee hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy and perfect for our needs for the duration. Food was also very good dinner and breakfast.

As soon as we went to check in we were given a free upgrade. Great start! The room and en-suite bathroom were spotless. The bed and pillows comfortable. We had a lovely meal. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be staying at Woodside again.
