酒店是英國排屋，房間比較細，隔音比較差，聽到其他房間嘅人傾談，房間雖然有窗，但係外面只係天井，因為我們住在地庫，酒店有少少舊，地板都有點破爛，浴室應該有裝修過，因為相對比較較新淨，不過浴室沒有掛衣服嘅位置，酒店沒有供應牙膏牙刷，沒有提供洗手液，只有小塊的肥皂，冷氣非常足夠，床褥很軟，酒店位置尚算方便，由國王十字車站步行5分鐘就到，附近一列嘅排屋都係酒店

Will not return.

The room was small and stunk of curry. There were noises from everywhere, the flooring had gaps in it and the bathroom not clean. There were marks all over the walls god knows what they were. The key holder for the lights was very temperamental. The room was too warm. Couldn’t wash, and not sanitary disposable facilities.

Enkelrum som luktade jätteunket av fukt, var i källaren och "utsikten" var mot något konstigt förråd och skräp. Ingen mindre lampa så man fick antingen ha jätteljust eller helt mörkt. Fanns endast en liten påse med schampo och en med showergel (engångs) som inte blev påfyllda förrän jag bad om det. De bytte inte handdukar på tre dagar, endast till sista dagen. Fanns ingen hårfön på rummet, så fick be om en. Fanns heller ingen adapter till eluttag att låna - isf fick man köpa en. Det värsta var den väldigt starka lukten av fukt. Kan tyvärr verkligen inte rekommendera detta hotell.

Not ideal specific for lone female traveller

Arrived whilst staff member was handing laundry out to external cleaning service so not best welcome. Given a room on the top floor despite being a hot day and no air con so lower ground would have been better. No running water on arrival so couldn’t wash hands. Asked for a room move; moved to first floor. Door lock was bashed in however did work but left a feeling of being unsafe. Water came back on about 20 minutes later. Room had a Juliet balcony which was nice but door didn’t lock and the balcony joined across two rooms with the ability to get past the barrier / only first floor so could have been accessed. Someone attempted to get in the room approximately 2.30 in the morning, had to shout to stop them entering. Generally felt unsafe and wouldn’t stay again.

The room was small, no space to move around. The bed was on wheels and it kept moving around on the hard floor. There was a lot of shouting going on at 6am, we think from within the hotel.

Visiting London

The hotel was in an ideal location for what we were looking for and the room was clean. The shower in the bathroom could have been a little bigger but it did the job. Also there wasn’t really any room to put suitcase or hang up your clothes (above the kettle isn’t ideal) A blind or a new curtain that fitted the window would have smartened up the room and maybe the windows washed. The first 2 nights of our stay was disturbed by other guests in the room above blasting their music so loud we couldn’t even hear our own television.

Relatively cheap but not recommeded on a hot day

Very hot. Window did not stay open the receptionist had to wedge it with broken headboard posts. Foam mattress made heat even worse. Very little room around the bed, this caused me to stub one of my toes on the middle bed leg, probably broken as still painful 2.5 weeks later. Very little sleep had due to heat.

A hotel room or a prison cell?

We were ‘upgraded’ to a ‘comfort’ double en-suite, with no window in the cellar. The room had a significant damp problem and black mould on the wall. Air con had to be kept on all night, to take away the smell, you could taste the mould. The TV didn’t have a signal. Would never go back, dread to think what the ‘ordinary’ rooms were like! If I had the choice of staying in Guantanamo for a year or this place for a day, I would pick Guantanamo.
