Great location

I chose this hotel as I needed to be close to St Lazare Train Station for my trip out of Paris . It was a perfect location. Within 100m of the hotel is a gorgeous cafe, little supermarket and the Metro Station (Leige). Plus there was also a magnificent Indian restaurant. I know that being in Paris I should be eating typical French food, but I couldn’t help myself one night with the yummy Indian. The rooms are of course small and typical of a 3 star Paris hotel (I see so many people complain about this in past reviews) . But as long as you already know what to expect size wise, then this is a great hotel. It’s very clean, been renovated and the staff are just lovely. If I ever need to stay in this part of Paris again, I would definitely return to this hotel .

Poignée de la sdb qui reste dans la main, siphon lavabo qui fuit, chasse d'eau cassée, chaise branlante, 1er étage vue sur cour d'une tristesse à mourir, bruit d'eau en permanence dans tuyau du radiateur.... bref, à éviter malgré un personnel désolé de la situation qui fait ce qu'il peut.

Super hotel qui est mon lieu de séjour habituel à Paris. Très bien situé à proximité de la gare Saint lazare et du métro. Le personnel est super serviable et sympathique. Une très bonne adresse, j'y retourne dès la semaine prochaine.

Localização excepcional! É possível ir a muitos pontos turísticos a pé. Outra opção é a estação de metro que fica a poucos metros do hotel. De forma geral o hotel é nota 10. O único ponto negativo foi a recepcionista que estava trabalhando no dia em que fizemos check in. Chegamos ao hotel às 14h pois no e-mail que recebi informava que check in era a partir desse horário, e na verdade era a partir das 15h, então a recepcionista foi grosseira e antipática. Já os recepcionistas dos dias seguintes, foram super educados e atenciosos.

Very basic hotel

Very basic hotel (2☆ standards, not 3...). We paid a fortune because it was New Year's Eve & they put is in a "renovated" room accessible by an external staircase. There, we needed to climb 2 sets of stairs to go to the bathroom/WC!! We explained that one of us had a back problem & then we chose to go to a non-renovated room where at least wecould take the lift. The shower there was tiny, the windows too old (could hardly open), there was no individual light & we could only barely charge 2 phones at the same time (one plug was hanging down from the TV dock station like a ripe grape). We managed to sleep though with little confort (old matresses). In the morning we woke up very early because we could hear the ones in the neighbouring rooms. Also, there was no way to turn down the heating (that kept popping back up at 25oC).

Mixed..

This is a difficult review to write... Firstly, the staff were amazing! They knew my name and were incredibly friendly, always greeting the other guests. Probably the best staff I have encountered in a hotel, especially in Paris. The rooms were okay, probably not quite as good as the images made out and they were very noisy - you could hear every noise from other rooms, the corridor etc. My biggest issue was, and it came after a 100km cycle ride when I was tired, the key to my room would not work. Whilst the staff tried to help, the key would just not open the door and their solution was that I sleep on the sofa in another hotel's reception. Really?! This place is not cheap (maybe cheaper by Paris standards) but to pay for a hotel room and sleep in reception is not really what I was hoping for. Eventually, Regis was extremely helpful and managed to force the lock open which I was thankful for but this took over two hours and I finally got in at almost 2am! I cannot fault the hotel, let me stress that, but I cannot help look back negatively at the key situation.

Amazing location and cute balcony

Such a good location really close to lots of metro stations and about a 15 walk to the Sacre Coeur. We got the twin room with the balcony on the 5th floor so it was a very pretty room. I asked before hand for the balcony so I was very happy when we got it. The room is small but we didn't spend much time there so was perfect for the long weekend.

The concierge staff was kind and helpful. The property itself was a bit dated in terms of upkeep. The bathroom walls had paint chipping and had strange smells from outside the building coming in. There was NO laundry room nor service so that was a big mislead as I was hoping to rely on it.

Room (55) only half renovated: bathroom very old and cold (heater not possible to work as no cables) / the room was ok BUT over the room door a huge old disgusting stain/paint fallong apart from a water damaged in a room upstairs we guess. Unbelievable to rent such a room with something like that (i have pictures). Room was not as advertised no cute decoration + impossible to sleep as you can hear everything on the street.. last but not least a late check out was not available even with a small extra fee. Thank you for the welcome decoration on the bed but this in no way can compensate with all the negativ points of our stay.
