We had a very pleasant one-night stay at Palym Hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location near Gare de Lyon train station, which made it very convenient for traveling to other cities by train. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, kindly accommodating our early arrival and assisting with luggage storage before check-in. We also appreciated the helpful commuting recommendations provided during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and convenient for travelers. The two twins beds pushed together with separate bedding is a little backward, especially when they start separating throughout the night but a good choice for a single night. Absolutely nothing to complain about for the price. Clean rooms, recently refurbished, right next to Gate Du Lyon for early morning trains. Yes they take a damage deposit, and you aren't allowed to remove your room key from the building. So a bit quirky, but that's France for you. Plenty of shops, cafés and a bakery steps away. All in all, pretty good place that I would return to.
