While our overall stay at the hotel was pleasant thanks to the rest of the staff, our experience with the breakfast receptionist, Islam, was unacceptable. Despite confirming with the reservations manager that breakfast was included in my aunt’s booking, Islam treated us as though we were "begging for food," dismissing us rudely and refusing to verify the arrangement.
His unprofessionalism was evident—he was more focused on his phone than assisting guests, yet took a particular interest in making us feel uncomfortable. Such behavior is unbecoming of a hospitality professional and tarnished an otherwise great stay.
Management should address this, as courteous service is the bare minimum guests expect.
