A beautiful, well equipped apartment with availability of washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine amongst other things. However, here was no kettle. There were no instructions for the boiler, safe or blinds. We abandoned the safe as we felt the area was secure. We worked out how to get hot water and heating. But we could not open the blinds so it was a bit dingy.

Great location. Very clean. One thing which did let this stay down was the fact that we didn’t receive any check in/access information. As the booking said ‘staff would greet at front desk’ we didn’t worry too much. However there was no front desk so we were a bit stuck and had to call the provider. Otherwise a great stay.

Modern, light, great location.

I loved my stay here. It’s right in the center of Castellón, lovely neighborhood. The interior is modern with big, open kitchen/dining/living room. The management office is 200 meters away abs very responsive. My next trip to Castellón, I’m staying here.

Iberflats was great! Location was perfect and much to get to in the area whether you wanted to dine out or eat in as the kitchen was good. Made pasta and burgers in house and went to Le Otto (best pizza in Spain) literally a few minutes walk away! Ease of entry into the apartment was great! Public parking close by and groceries a block away. Well worth it!

I had a 10-night booking advertised as “accommodation with city view”. Upon check-in, I discovered the apartment was actually facing a wall at the back of the building, with no city view at all. This was clearly misleading. I immediately contacted Hotels.com, who were very professional and changed the booking request. Unfortunately, Iberflat showed little to no concern, ignored the request, and I was forced to spend the first night in that apartment despite the issue. On the second day, thanks solely to the excellent support from Hotels.com, they escalated the issue and effectively pushed Iberflat to move us to another apartment. Sadly, the second apartment was also 😟 concerning We had to cover the shower drain due to an overpowering sewage smell, otherwise it was impossible to sleep. The mattress protector smelled of urine. The air conditioning system was extremely dusty, clearly not cleaned or maintained for a very long time. Overall, this stay was stressful, unhygienic, and far below expectations. The lack of accountability and care from Iberflat was disappointing. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious and verify everything in writing before if they care

Beautiful property, recently remodeled. However, no one met us at check-in to show us the features, how things work, etc. Everything including door code, wi-fi sign on, wi-fi password was done via internet Checked in at 3pm on a Sat and did not have internet til we woke up at 7am Sun, even after we contacted the host via text message. Coffee Pot and Toaster Grill did not work; there were no paper towels, napkins, etc. Property set-up is basic for a one-night stay, not for longer. Ended up leaving one-day early. Would not stay here again.

The apartments are quite nice, practically new, and the location is perfect with parking options nearby. I agree with other reviews regarding the sewer smell that can sometimes be noticed in the bathrooms, but this smell is persistent in much of the city, especially in the center, so it’s likely not an issue with the accommodation itself but rather with the city. I also agree with the opinion that there should be more kitchen utensils. If I’m renting an apartment with a kitchen, it’s because I intend to cook and make use of the facilities. If I didn’t want to cook, I would just stay in a regular hotel. We didn’t have any issues that required contacting customer service, but on a couple of occasions I had questions and communication was quite difficult — they almost never answer the phone. If you’re going to stay here, I recommend having everything arranged before your arrival (online check-in, security deposit, etc.) so you don’t need to rely on customer service at all. Overall, the whole process — price, condition of the accommodation, location, etc. — is perfect. When I come back to Castellón, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. That said, I would bring a couple of kitchen utensils to be able to cook more comfortably.
