Rooms were very clean and sufficient. The view from my room was amazing, right on the beach. The area surrounding the hotel was a little unsettling. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff at the restaurant were very nice. There was some confusion with the front desk not being open in the morning to check out and available staff on property seemed limited and scarce. I wasn’t comfortable just leaving the room key in the mailbox and not receiving a receipt for our one night stay.

The location with the view was amazing. The morning sunrise was beautiful with the castle across the bay with a beautiful view. We missed the sunset but it was probably great from the back of our room. The quiet and private beach on the backside of our room was great. It has a good location away from things and close to the park down the street. The restaurant on the property was packed that night and made parking a challenge. It was overall a good stay.

The room looks recently renovated and was clean. This is a motel-style hotel (entering from the outside). Our room was facing the back (beach-side) so it was quiet, only the sound of the waves! We spent 6 nights there and it was secluded with a few places to eat nearby and great views on Old San Juan on the other side of the Bay. However, one absolutely needs a car and it was no problem parking at the hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Aqua’s staff was exceptional! The private beach and pool were fantastic! We were able to fit our family of 5 in a family room. The only thing we encountered was due to the humidity- the room had a slight scent of mildew. Keeping the fan on in the bathroom and the A/C helped with that. Overall Great Experience!

Our stay here was brief. We stayed just one night between leaving our cruise ship and flying out of San Juan. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there, but the hotel staff was very friendly and quickly prepared our room. The rooms were a good size and there was a fridge in our room. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop view of the surrounding bay and beach. We loved that our room was just steps from the water. This was a nice place to spend our last night in Puerto Rico before heading home. We didn’t use it because this was after our cruise, but the hotel does have shuttle service to the cruise port. We would stay here again!
