The facilities were very good. We would have appreciated a kettle in the room but we were surrounded by lots of cafes and tavernas with good food and drinks. The Codina Hotel is a 3-star property located on the western side of town. Since I needed to be be on this part of town, it was perfect for me. The room rate was great (average $54/night), rhe room had a functional decoration, windows were double-glassed (therefore the street noises were kept out of the room), the TV had many channels. The only thing I missed was a coffee machine or a tea kettle.

for the first night, we got a room that did not satisfy us, we demanded a change for the second night, and the hotel responsible Lora presented us free alternatives including a great room for a small upgrade. that was the highlight of our stay this time. we cannot thank her enough. other than this, this was our 4th time at this hotel. it is a really convenient place near the ondarreta beach and the non-touristy Antigua neighborhood. if you want to be close to the attractions of San Sebastián-donosti but want to stay at a local, authentic area, this hotel suits you best.

Great location but no pool as advertised

The hotel was located close to La concha and local shops and restaurants. The bus stop is outside the door and in 15 min you can be in the old town. The service is very easy to use.We enjoyed the local shops and the ease of getting in and out of town. It does not have a pool as is advertised. Rooms and service were good and friendly.
