Our stay at the Villa Lara was glorious! From its beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms and majestic views, this hotel stunned and delighted us. The service and staff were excellent; Valeria was so responsive and Tomaso was an incredible host; the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff does an excellent job communicating with you and making sure your transportation is set up. Villa Lara is a truly lovely place to stay in Amalfi It is close to the centre yet when you are in the villa it is tranquil and views are amazing It is so nice and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful, breakfast on the terrace is just wonderful! Villa Lara is a quiet little place about 10 minutes from the bustling downtown area of Amalfi. It has a beautiful view of the coast and of the beautiful mountains. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to sit in the mornings to enjoy some peace and the quietness of the coast. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel like you are a part of their family.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Excellent property, highly recommend it. It is in a walkable distance to the main Amalfi church, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet location. We missed to connect with the staff in advance, they can provide great recommendations to plan your trip.

Great location. Staff were extremely helpful. Elevator from the street level to the top level which is approximately four flights of stairs up broke down on the day we were leaving and the staff had to help us carry our luggage down the exterior old stairs.
