Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn was pet friendly for my goldendoodle Sadie, she felt comfortable and there's plenty of areas to walk her. The room was clean and the staff was very understanding. I arrived after hours, called for access information and misunderstood the access code. I had to call back, staff made sure I was able to get in my room while they were on the phone.

My family enjoyed staying at the property. Right away, we were impressed by the cleanliness and newness of the room. We were provided with our check in information by text, so we didn’t have to head to the office upon arrival or check out. There was a delicious breakfast provided and a cute little store. I have known of this property for over 50 years by annual trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have seen the property in the early years, the desolate years and now as a completely remodeled roadside inn. You do not find properties like this anymore. Everyone interested in history and an excellent stay should book at this property. The convenience of being adjacent to the Parkway is so convenient. The cost of the room is amazing considering this is the color season and the newly renovated, modern and clean rooms. It could not be any better!
