We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Sully! The chateau is beautiful and the grounds are extremely well-maintained. Our cozy room had a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the garden. The staff was friendly and professional. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it without hesitation. One small thing - breakfast was good but expensive - I would probably skip it next time and eat off-property.

Gently fading grandeur. We had a lovely time and the pool/spa are very nice. Staff were friendly. Bar prices seem to reflect what this hotel used to be like, rather than its current state of maintenance as a few things weren't working eg room phones, spa shower. Very convenient/close to Bayeux. Room was spacious and clean. In-room refrigerator and nespresso machine were much appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had so many historic sights to see that we didn’t spend enough time at the hotel to appreciate the surroundings, food or spa treatments. The WiFi is spotty…Mostly poor or didn’t connect. Some cheap materials used in modernizing (bathroom fixtures) and more outlets would have been helpful. The pro greatly outweigh the cons. We would definitely stay here again and we would better utilize the restaurant and facilities.

Room was in the outbuilding and not in the chateau which was disappointing, could have said in booking and we would of booked into another chateau. Dinner was very nice and the added extras were divine. The big downside was we didn't feel welcome and waited a long time to be served at dinner, especially the wine refills. In the end we had to serve ourselves..... not worth a return trip but ok.

Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are large. The restaurant on site is wonderful for a special dinner. The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. Stayed here with my son on a trip to visit D Day beaches, the hotel is perfectly located for this. Staff were super welcoming and helpful across the hotel and super patient as I practiced my very rusty French! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the room very spacious, comfortable and clean. We used the pool once which was fine. We ate in the restaurant, food was excellent and they were able to adapt dishes for me to be gluten free. Only very small gripe was that in our ground floor room when the people in the room above used their bathroom, the sound of the water in the pipes disturbed me but I am a light sleeper so am sure this wouldn’t be an issue for many others.
