Chic decor in a well thought out, efficient room. Really nice facilities and staff. Tranquil feel both inside the hotel and its surroundings. Love the free drinks, including an automatic espresso machine and free beer, and snacks. Easy walk from the A17 MRT station. I only wish checkout were later than 11 AM so I could enjoy it for longer!

This is my second stay at alfar hotel, following last month, and it was a comfortable stay with new facilities. The staff speaks a few words of Japanese, although English is more understandable. Kate is especially hospitable and helpful.

Excellent hotel at a fantastic location convenient to HSR, MRT and the airport. Beautiful setting directly across the street from a park. Free snacks and drinks available around the clock and they even offer free beer in the afternoon and evening. Very clean, well equipped, modern. Highly recommended.

This was perfect for a long layover. It’s a 10-13 minute walk to and from the train station at the airport. The area seemed quiet and safe. Next to a park. The room itself is very clean and modern.

Clean and quiet. The room on the sixth floor was modern though small. We checked in late and the room was quite warm and didn't seem to be cooling. The front desk staff came up immediately and lowered the temperature to the minimum. We checked out the free cookies, candies, and beverages. When we got back, the room was plenty cool. The staff was happy to hold our bags for the afternoon after we checked out. The train station and X- park aquarium are easy walks away for a couple of mildly active sixty somethings.

Within walking distance to a major outlet center. Within 5 minutes walk to MRT to catch Taoyuan Airport. Free beer and cafe and snack bars. Cozy room, but nice and clean. Highly recommended. Would certainly stay there again if flying out of Taoyuan Airport.

The hotel was very nice. I liked that there was always someone at the front at all hours especially since my flight arrived late (almost midnight). One thing I do have to mention is that the plumbing doesn't appear to be soundproof since I could hear adjacent guests use the water and there was a recurring tapping sound that sounded like hammering but I could not pinpoint where it was coming from. Otherwise great place to stay for one night.

The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a bit out of the way from everything. You would have to take a cab or walk a ways to get to even find a place to eat. Perhaps as they develop that area more, it would be more convenient. Word of advice, take a cab from the train station. Google maps had it at a 17 min walk. It is more than that especially with luggage. Otherwise, it is a great place and they will call a taxi for you. Taxis to the airport at 7 am took less than 15 minutes and less than 300 NTD.

The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The surrounding area was also very safe and nice, and very close to the airport so it's convenient. The room was clean except for the shower area. The floor of the shower area did not look and feel very clean because the grouts were brown and the floor was slightly slimy. Soundproofing of the room is quite bad because I could hear people from other rooms turning on their showers, opening/closing doors or moving around in their rooms so I wasn't able to sleep soundly. But I only stayed a night so it was bearable.
