We stayed at here for two nights on our first visit to Florence and loved it. It’s a small boutique hotel, around a 20-minute walk from the centre and main sights. Our room was large, quiet, and very clean, with useful amenities like an iron, safe, TV, and a great rain shower in the bathroom. The staff were excellent - very welcoming, communicating via WhatsApp ahead of our stay, and even arranging an early check-in. They personally showed us to our room, which was a lovely touch. Special thanks to Daniel and Leonia, who were both incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Do note that access involves two flights of stairs, though there’s a lift from the first floor up to the second, which helps when carrying luggage. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of cheese, ham, breads, jams, pastries, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, and coffee. A warm, friendly, and convenient base for exploring Florence - highly recommend!

This was such a unique and interesting building with a lot of character. We were looking for something in Florence that was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, and this location delivered. It is a bit of a walk to things (only about 15-20 minutes) but was completely worth it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome. There were some steps up to the main lobby, but we knew about those and they weren't a problem. Check-in was very easy and communication was excellent. The staff was simply amazing - so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Florence.

This is an out of the way totally unique hotel. It is under renovations which can only improve its quantness. The owner was extremely helpful and made my stay very comfortable if even for one night. It rained which ruined sight seeing but not my spirit as the city was magnificent.
