Hotel does not have a lift, it is very inconvenient with a luggage. Also small things here and there, shower water leaking into floor, safe is not bolted on the cabinet. There is nothing extras in the room, not even water cooker or coffee.

Location of the hotel is great! Close to all attractions as well as to Amsterdam central. The only drawback was that it’s a three storey hotel with no elevators so you would have to move your luggage by yourself as there is no help! It is a great place for the price though.

The area was great and the staff was helpful. However the cleanliness was not up to par. The walls of the room were dirty and stained. The sheets had yellow stains and there was a used cigarette on the floor under the bed. We do not smoke and we booked a nonsmoking room. The cigarette was there when we arrived and still on the floor after we left after they came into our room to “clean” it everyday. I would not stay here again

The property is in a great location in the city. Staff were very friendly. Very happy with our stay. Our only complaint would be the noise. Not the hotels fault but during our stay there were some works happening to the building. Leading to banging and drilling at silly times right at our window. Other than that happy with our stay for the price we paid and would recommend.

Black mold in bathroom

Comfortable and spacious room near everything, but there was visible black mold in the shower. The room’s air quality felt compromised as a result. We didn’t use the shower, tried not to spend time in the bathroom, kept that door closed as much as possible, and tried not to be in the room except for sleeping. Not ideal at all. We hate leaving bad reviews, but this should be remedied before being offered to guests.

It’s not a five star hotel or anything, it’s right by the train station and right on Damrak which is an insanely busy street which is what makes this hotel great for convenience. But what made it great - my husband and I had just taken an 8 day cruise and a 6 hour train to get to Amsterdam from South England and we were both not feeling too great due to motion sickness, when they saw how poorly my husband was doing they gave us a room on a lower floor and were very kind and tried to keep our spirits up because we were doing BAD. Bathroom was nice, the room was clean, just a little noisy but was to be expected. Thanks to everyone at Manofa!

Location was perfect, about a 5 minute walk from the central train station and close to all the attractions. My room was on the 4th floor so it was a lot of stairs to climb but that's to be expected from the old buildings. Probably best for a short trip because the stair climb would get tiring pretty quickly. Overall would stay here again and recommend to others!

This is a simple hotel. If your expectations are high, Dont stay here. We just slept here and it was conveniently located within walking distance to everything. You must be able to climb stairs. The desk persons were great help in explaining how to get around Amsterdam.
