Just an absolute blast this property has everything and such responsive and professional staff. Pet friendly and for a reasonable fee which is hard to find nowadays and my dog loved all the space and felt comfortable.

It was an excellent stay. The cabin was clean, the Saloon’s food was great and the service was friendly. Check in was a breeze and we’ll definitely be back.

6/10 Good

The A Frame Club is perfectly situated at the base of Winter Park resort. The A-frame itself is in great condition and is very cozy. The staircase might be the smallest and steepest of its kind so I advise caution to anyone that’s not good with stairs.. The couch could have been a bit cozier, but the overall ambience makes up for it. The heated floors in the bathroom are great, and the views are fantastic. I recommend to clean the water in the hot tub now frequently and have non slip pads on the surface of the stairs leading to the hot tub. The A-Frame grill was fantastic. The cocktails and menu are extensive and very well prepared.

Great family spot

Its a new small boutique hotel. Although they are not quite finished the place is amazing. Great design, bot exterior and interior. Perfect for a family getaway.

We loved the location and unique architecture of each cabin and marveled at the use of space. Our family of 4 was comfortable and not cramped at all.

8/10 Very good

We had an excellent stay overnight at A-Frame Club. There was a problem with our hot water and the staff quickly resolved it. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

8/10 Very good

Overall good stay. Only complaint would be the steepness of the stairs in the room. Due to the steepness of the stairs, I feel down the stairs and burned my hands on the railing while trying to catch my fall.

2/10 Poor

I honestly would like a refund for staying at this property. I never leave reviews, but this time I had to say something. Everything was completely miss advertised. The hot tub wasn’t working, the fireplace in the unit wasn’t working we could not control the AC, the front desk person was unable to explain how to use anything in the unit. There were no extra blankets and covers for the sofa bed downstairs everything about this property was extremely unprofessional, however, the unit and space itself was very pretty. Just nothing much to do and poorly managed.

Too much noise to enjoy

Concept is cute. Unfortunately we were there when there was some sort of drainage repair happening right outside our door. It was way too noisy to enjoy the cute little deck. The cabin was very cute and very clean. But, the sofa was small and hard and not very functional (although had we been able to use the deck we probably wouldn’t have minded). The price was too high for the experience we had. Maybe just bad timing.

Cute Comfy Cabins!

The cabins are really cute and nice. There are quite a few of them and they’re clustered together, so not super private. The pics of the river are a little deceiving, there is a river but it’s a bit further away and right behind the cabins was more so grey water or something. The cabins came with plates, glasses, wine bottle opener, silver ware, a knife, a couple cast iron pans, small refrigerator, microwave, and 2 burner stove top. We were able to request a room facing the back so the view was pretty great. One of my favorite touches was the floors in the bathroom were heated. 😍 The shower is downstairs and there is a tub upstairs in the loft. The stairs up to the loft are a little steep, but if you go down them backwards it’s easier. It was so nice to wake up and take a nice bubble bath with the sun coming in through the window. The staff was really nice. We went to the saloon for a drink before retiring for the night and I also got the French onion soup and it was soooooo good! Overall great stay and would definitely come back. We just stayed one night, which was great.

Not quite as expected!

We stayed here in the summer. They do an amazing job of marketing this place but it's not quite as it appears. The cabins and concept are cute but it didn't feel well thought out. The grounds were unfinished, dirt around the cabins, weeds and the overall curb appeal was lacking. The back porch on the cabin was too short, the chair barely fit on the deck and it required stepping down a step to get out of the chair. The outdoor chairs were uncomfortable! The porch was very close to the next cabin's porch so lacking privacy and it made it awkward. The biggest issue we had was the super steep steps/ladder leading up to the loft where the bed was. This wasn't explained at all in the description. We didn't even know the bed was in a loft! The steps were almost at a 90 degree angle and very dangerous. There was no way a child or elderly person could manage this.We decided to drink less water because it was a nightmare going down those stairs in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom! There was bright outdoor lights shining in the bedroom at night and early sun through the window across the bed, no blinds. We missed having a TV in the bedroom to relax and watch a movie. It was downstairs and the couch was SO uncomfortable! The door blinds were extremely difficult to open/close. The bathroom was nice, no handle on door, the bedding was good, the vintage decor was nice. The kitchen had good basics. The A frame idea was quaint. The restaurant is pricey! Needs fine tuning.

Overall the hotel is very nice and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was how steep the stairs was to the bedroom. It was a little scary walking down, my daughter fell twice. Thank goodness it wasn’t serious. Other than the steep stairs, it would have been a perfect stay

Great place that was close to the resort. Very clean and well kept and more interesting than a standard hotel or condo.

Stayed at this property 4 times now and every time it’s an issue with the cabin and river cabin they seem to charge extra for the river cabin then always just put you in whatever cabin they want. Also the cabin we we’re giving this time not sure if the budget is empty but it was a serious downgrade cheap furniture shops and shampoo were mismatched botttles looked like from a Walmart silverware was basically plastic and three coffee pods just thrown on the counter by the maker. Food from restaurant was also a major downgrade…last time it was amazing and everything was correct this time almost 300 dollars for inedible food and a burnt salad which I didn’t even know was possible just seems like this place is been ran on a very small budget but still charging the same amount and actually more than it used to be

Work

I stayed for a work trip. The location is good for the ski resort; it's not too far from town. Cast iron pots had sitting oil, there were no trash bags for the main bin, and there were no paper towels. The front office was quick to respond. "Kitchen " was very small, with no oven, two stove top burners, and a mini fridge, not ideal for extended stays. The stairs to the upper level were very tight, but the bed was comfortable. The downstairs couch was not comfortable to sit in. It wouldn't be my first choice to stay again, but I wouldn't say never again in the same token.
