Very nicely upgraded. Area around the place is old town so make sure you are comfortable with moving around the streets to get to places. Only complaint was the rock hard mattress. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location & friendly service

Excellent location. They allowed to drop our bags at the property before check-in time. Super friendly service, straight forward check-in/out. We got given vouchers with discount for a Coffee place nearby for all days of our stay.

Hotel was clean and quiet, with friendly staff. Breakfast was only a short walk away. Could use more plug ins and shower had no shower curtain and only a spray nozel/tub. Would stay here again

The hotel main in the city, main railway station Napoli Termini and metro is just 5-6 minutes walkable distance. There are so many supermarkets and souvenirs shops near the hotel.

Good hotel for the price

Perfectly fine hotel if you just need a place to stay centrally in Naples. Pretty newly renovated room which was very clean and spacious. Not the place for a cozy family vacation, but serves very well for sleeping centrally for a good price. Bring earplugs as the doors and windows are thin.

property was very clean. Male owner was not very friendly, blamed us for poorly maintained room. Many things were in disrepair (toilet seat hinge broken, remote batteries were dead, bedside shelf slanted and unusable, shower drain partly blocked and water would pool quickly, etc) however, room was clean.

The host/owner was friendly and helpful. We arrived slightly later than planned and he was available to assist us with check in. Although there was a language barrier, he was patient, pleasant and very helpful. Location was great for easy access to many restaurants. The included breakfast at the cafe down the street was a perfect way to start the day. Very happy with our stay. Would be perfect for guests without a vehicle. Parking was a bit challenging.

A little bit of luxury

After a little uncertainty about checking in, as reception was only advertised to be open in the morning, we managed to check in - despite the poor man on reception not speaking English. The room was beautiful and clean, Air conditioned and had a small TV! Beds could have been comfier, but it made a lovely base for our weekend adventures. Breakfast was included at a little bar around the corner.

The property is small, but very clean. It‘s very close to the busy area, so you can walk easily everywhere. The welcome was very warm. You shouldn‘t book the rooms when you are sensitive to noise. Our room was very noisy. You can hear every single sound from the entrance and reception.

Fine as a place to sleep

It's quite hard to find as it's in a side street and my phone was confused by the street layout. Although the receptionist didn't speak English, I checked in OK. The area is about 10 minutes' walk to Piazza Garibaldi and Central Station. You are given a voucher for breakfast (cappuccino and a croissant) at Cafeteria Splendore down the road from the hotel. The hotel was fine as a base - WiFi was reliable, the TV worked and there was a sofa. I did need ear plugs as the street outside was quite noisy at night - it's not the most pre-possessing of neighbourhoods, but I didn't have any trouble.

This stay is part of a personal apartment. So there is no official reception. The first time you arrive, you may find its door closed (which happened to me) I waited for 10 minutes in the alley and the owner showed up. After that I got a key. The other downside is cleanliness. I found multiple hair strings on the sheets. Other than that, it was clean.

What the other reviews say is accurate concerning both the nice renovations and the noise. And no toilet seat. But this is Naples. It’s what you came here for. Finding the bar where breakfast is served is easy. As you exit, go right until the wall, then left, then straight ahead. And for my fellow Americans, a continental breakfast on this continent is a pastry and coffee!

My Luxury B&B superbly run, clean, crisp, large room with much needed aircon. This was the perfect point to explore Naples for me. Easy reach (walking) of most of the historical buildings of interest. Easy reach of the station and metro making it a perfect location to travel to pompeii and alike. Short walk to Spaccanapoli, amazing restaurants, bars, cafes and gift shops. Fascinating architecture, people noise and the hustle and bustle of a busy city. Taken back by the amount of rubbish littering the city streets especially plastic bottles. If feels like the Refuge collectors or street cleaners are non existence, so why are tourist paying tourist taxes?

Great but noisy

Small family run B&B. Host doesn’t speak English, but he is very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay, modern, clean and safe place. Our only complaint is that it was very noisy. Both from inside and outside. No proper doors for each room, so you could hear everything going on. Same for outside, you could hear everything like if the window was open. A lot of yelling from the backyard.

Just stayed in the heart of historic Napoli, and I loved it! At first, the surrounding area threw me off, but a quick walk into town revealed how convenient and authentic the neighborhood is. Close to hotels, shops, and just a 10-minute walk to the 24-hour hop-on-hop-off tour stop. Breakfast is served at a nearby café—not in-house—where you can enjoy a coffee or cappuccino with a delicious cornetto (croissant). The pizza in Napoli is the best I’ve had in Italy. I tried all the local pizza shops they are delicious but different. I stayed in the smallest room, Dalia, which was cozy and perfect for me. The owners live on-site near the lobby, and they were super helpful. They held my luggage after checkout so I could grab breakfast and even called a cab to take me to the train station. Everything went smoothly, and I really enjoyed my stay! For more information follow my travel blogs on Instagram @c_est_la_viz and @wetravelmexico

This is a clean and modern place to stay right in between the historic centre and the train station so its location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and the air conditioning works well. There are some negatives however. There was no toilet seat on the toilet, there is no safety deposit box in the room, the shower drain is blocked and so the shower tray over fills with water when showering. There is also no shampoo or conditioner. Also the doors are too thin and so let in sound from neighbouring rooms and from people walking through the lobby. Besides these negatives the location and staff are great and therefore overall I would rate this place as 3 stars. If they improved on what I have mentioned then it would be a fantastic place.

We do not feel good in this stay

I honestly have to say that the room was very spacious and clean, the man who received us was very friendly, but many things happened that I cannot rate this accommodation well. I am going to give my explanation, the first thing an accommodation is to rest in is therefore the noises of voices, banging noises, a good rest is impossible, then I must say the mattress is super hard and they told us that every day the room is cleaned at 1 pm, the first day it was not cleaned, the second day they did not change the towels and lift the ones on the floor and they hung them to reuse, and so every day a problem and then the breakfast, says complete because it is only 1 coffee and a brioche, in a bar 3 blocks away, which is very, very rude those at the -- bar dello sport -- we also recalrntp some old brioche and the treatment towards us was very bad and for the last 2 days we didn't go because to start the morning in a bad mood it would be better to have breakfast somewhere else, which is positive for the location, otherwise I wouldn't choose this one accommodation

Unique

Made this reservation based on the few (mixed) reviews, the price and the location based on the proximity to our tour pick-up and the airport. #1. It is newly renovated and mostly clean. The duvet was stained. #2. The owner/desk clerk was helpful, but only speaks Italian and uses a translator. He tried to help with most concerns. #3. Airport shuttle is non-existent. He will tell you to book a taxi. Couldn't book a return so we walked to train station about 7 min away. Should be about €20. They will charge more from airport (be aware). #4. €50 cleaning fee to use jetted tub but it is in fine print on listing #5. Charged an extra €20 for "check-in". This is the first time my price did not match reservation. I will call hotels.com #6. Told it was extra to use the sofa bed even tho my reservation was for two persons and listed both beds. Said only could use if 3 persons. Was adamant. #7. There was no toilet seat and only one hook to hang towels. #8. No extra outlets for charging unless you unplug the bathroom light, the mini fridge or the lamp. #9. There is a giant bear and mood lighting. #10. There were no pillow cases, but he found one in another room and finally got another or his wife sewed it. #11. The door is just a sliding piece of wood right next to the front desk. It only has a small hook locking mechanism. #12. It is a bit noisy at times but usually quiets down at night to sleep. #13. Free breakfast is a voucher for a drink and pastry at a nearby cafe.
