My wife and I chose this place based on the photos and the initial reviews, but upon our arrival I was more disappointed than anything. The inn is old and poorly maintained. The old saying, "if you put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig" was never more fitting than here. From the outside, the signage and parking lot were not very welcoming. There was a half eaten box of chicken in the parking lot as well as an old mattress in the front parking lot corner. Basic maintenance could have solved this problem. It was even worse once we entered the inn. Don't let the pictures fool you. Our room was not even close to looking that nice. Our room was in an obscure corner...more like a closet. The walls were painted cinder blocks with a ground level window looking into a poorly maintained rear parking lot. Our bathroom was also like a closet with only enough room to turn around. The owner attempted to paint the tub, toilet and vanity to make it look nice...They should have been replaced. There were 2 piece of candy on the bed...they looked like they have been there for years. They have a pool, but is all torn up and unusable. The inn smelled and it was clear the owners tried to cover it up with wick diffusers and plug-ins all over the place. Given the poor condition of this inn, my wife and I decided not to stay and left the same night we checked in. I preferred to drive the 2+ hours home instead of staying here. Do yourself a favor and look for a different place to stay.
